Morning Lindy I haven't watched any of the new BB but from what I've read I don't think I'm missing much. I think it's definitely lost it's magic now - we all witnessed something really special with John and his relationship with Josie and I can't imagine anything to equal that happening again.

Really Well I can't imagine he's got that much - especially at the rate he keeps giving away his cars and all the travelling between Oz and the UK he's done over the last year (first class of course).

Gonna have to move the rehearsal to Tuesday as I have hospital tests (again) on Thursday and need to go to London. I am getting myself into a muddle as only thing I can remember is that georgy and Lena are jumping out of the cake and you and Marion are making the cake and cards. Alex is acting as security and will do the fireworks. Someone has volunteered to look after Norman but can't remember who. Ucra is in charge of refreshments and the rest of us are cheerleaders although I'd love someone to arrange the fireworks so that Alex doesn't have too much to do.

Please help. Feeling much better. Taken some peppermint oil tablets and had a decent night's sleep. Off to watch Saturday kitchen in a minute. Love that show.

Woke up and caught a bit of BB spin-off. Emma and the other girl are very good. Don't really think the panel is necessary and it is on very late!

Thanks for sharing that with us - it must have been a brilliant atmosphere. I love Emma Willis - she seemed to really like John - she had her Mum on BBLB once and she was a bit of a John fan too

I know they won't have the impact of a huge firework display spelling out John's name as a finale - but we could always downsize our plans to spelling out his name with sparklers if it all gets a bit too much

It's a year today since John's eviction from BB and it seems his friend Paul is also in reminiscent mood. He hasn't tweeted in sometime but four days ago tweeted this:- 1 Year Ago, so facey tells me .. "Just got to KL.. Off to Dubai next then London.. 8 down 16 to go.."
He was on his way to the UK with Turtle and Helena for John's eviction, I wonder what made him suddenly think of that?

It must bring back so many memories for them all, some good some sad but isn't he luck to have such good friends who travel around the world to be with him and look after his mum xx

It seems longer than a year ago to me!! I really miss hearing from John but also his friends too - I used to like reading Turtles tweets and all the speculating about when Paul was coming over to stay!!

No wonder why he was so homesick when he was over here - I remember when he got to skype them in the BB house - he looked really lost and lonely for a while afterwards!!

Hi cris, are you all dried out now? I used to really enjoy Turtle's banter on twitter. It's really only Scott now that still tweets, guess they've all moved on. They don't need it to communicate with each other and they used to get some nasty stuff sent to them so I guess they thought, why bother.
Twitter's a very strange place at times.

Watched a teeny bit of CBB last night but really can't be bothered, Kerry does my head in and I just find them boring to be honest. Probably doesn't help that I don't even know who most of them are. When I saw BB put their names up on the screen during the highlights it occured to me that maybe I'm not the only one, haha. As for BBBOTS didn't bother after the first one, I gather the revolting dog seems to be a recurring item.:yawn:

Hi Lena Yes thanks - all back to normal!! Mind you it looks like rain again today Typical really because we're in the throse of our Annual Air Show - it goes on for 4 days - quite impressive but not much good if iit rains!! We're giving it a miss this year - I can summon up enthusiasm for the first hour or so but I find it hard to get too excited about planes - I always try and escape to the shops but OH will have none of it and wants me to share in the full joy of Spitfires, heliccopters etc Anyway it's our anniversary today so we're off out for a nice relaxing lunch

I'm not at all surprised that the loys have stayed away from twitter. Some people seemed to turn on them and send them abuse and nonsense - why would they want to read stuff like that - it must have been a bit of a shock after most people being so nice to start with!!

It was our four day airshow last week, we also got washed out on the Thursday, Friday faired a little better and Sat and Sun full days with fireworks at the end. Red Arrows fly in right over our house every year and turn back overhead to the seafront during the display. They're so low you can see the pilots clearly in the cockpit, the noise is incredible. We avoid the town like the plague, all roads into seafront are always chockablock. We just walk a few yards from our front door onto the South Downs and have a terrific view right over the bay of all the display. Enjoy yourselves!

Off to Tesco's now, oh the joy.

No, want to keep the fireworks and go out with a bang - georgy and Lena will have sparklers when they get out of the cake. I've had fireworks made that say Happy Birthday John James Parton. Was going to do a portrait but the expense. . .and very difficult to put in the right sequence. Think we'll have enough to sort out.

Welcome sad old lady. Can't believe it is a year already.

Next installment of village life. Another neighbour has now been painting his window since 7 am. One window! He hasn't even prepped it or scraped off old wood, my husband has been watching! And before you ask, this place is so dead that events like this are fascinating! I've been wondering if he's using a watercolour brush.

Off to do useful things like taking another peppermint capsule and paying bills! Back shortly!

The red arrows flew over our house yesterday!! Not that low though thank goodness!! Do you live in Brighton? My daughter had a flat there last year and I stayed with her - I loved it there and feel like I know it quite well now!! Have fun at Tescos

They are not sure why alot of the BB legends aren't used in these programmes. Alex Sibley would be another good one.

We have annemarie taking care of norman, we have augusta and cris making the cake so that lena and georgy can jump out of it. Haven't had any inspiration for a cheer. At the moment the cheerleaders will sing/cheer happy birthday to you, happy birthday JOHN with jumps and hopefully kinicky and others who are able will do some kind of display while lena and georgy pop out of the cake, light their sparklers which will signal to Alex to stop protecting the cheerleaders and light the fireworks! Norman will be taken to a secure place so he doesn't get scared and then ucra can serve the refreshments and birthday cake - which I've made - it's chocolate with chocolate butter cream frosting and 28 candles - I've also made some koala bear shaped cookies. Hopefully everyone will donate some food.
