Would just like to say thank you to Little Girl of 7 - Kelly - for arranging the meet in London today and for the little touches she brought to it. Would also like to thank Phil, Cathy, Joyce, Kirsty, Annette, Kay, Jan, Rosie, Kelly, Alma, LynR, Marion, Laura, Nicky Jane

Im really sad that annemarie couldnt come as well, hope the fridge is safely installed and behaving itself....

But it was lovely to meet up with everyone and just have a good chat about old times...
We got there in the pouring rain and had to keep popping inside and outside of the pub, to avoid the downpours, but Greenwich is a beautiful place, and I love travelling and seeing what new places are like.
It reminds me of the positives of the past year for me, I have met some wonderful people, who I have been able to share a lot of laughs and a few tears with. Its been wonderful to find people that share my same fascination about why people do things and why some people behave in such extraordinary ways.....

John James (and Josie) have a bunch of really nice people who support him and care about him. Its so good to see positivity and celebrate his birthday together.

OK Squad, let's march into our positions.

Alex, ready with the fire extinguisher and tapers? Three buckets of water should you need them. . .

Right, here we go. . .

Cheerleading squad marches into position. Cris and Lena get into the cake which is yellow and green and decorated with union jacks.

Annemarie, hope Norman is tied up. Lavro, got the sparklers for Lena and Cris?

Glad to see kinicky. Are you OK with another backflip and split? Good. Finny, hope you and Daisy have practiced your cartwheels.

Let's begin. . . .

Squad start 'Johnny James, Johnny James. . .' (Squad jumps up and shakes their pom poms, Alex is fascinated by it all and joins in the chants)
. . .

'We are sending you birthday hugs'. . . Hughsey loses balance but quickly regains it before bumping Annemarie into the cake, georgy is jumping in places she shouldn't,. . .Lizznhaley loses her pom poms and rainbow picks it up for her. . .

. . .Pom poms shaken, BBlover and Daisy get a mouthful of pom poms from Lavro who is jumping in the wrong place. . .

'Happy Birthday John!' . . . Everyone does the reindeer jump, Cris and Lena jump out of the cake and Alex stops ogling the cheerleaders and lights the fireworks which blaze the sky with

Kinicky and finny perform their cartwheels and backflips and finish with splits. The elastic in georgy's rah rah skirt snaps suddenly and she leaves holding her skirt up. Luckily augusta runs up with a safety pin. The other cheerleaders swarm to the refreshments table.

Somehow Norman has gotten free and has demolished half the refreshments ucra has put out. The refreshment table is completely bare - as if a swarm of locusts has descended.. .

Lindy arrives with a chocolate birthday cake with buttercream frosting and champagne. The cake has 'Happy Birthday John from the JJAT' on it. Nyannie retreats from the thread with a paracetamol. . .
the tension has been far too much for her. . . .


Nyannie returns: Glad it's over folks. Very well done! We all hope John enjoys his very special day and that we see him again in the UK before too long. Hope he could see the fireworks and hear the cheers.

Norman goes under the table and finds a piece of birthday cake that has fallen. Needless to say it is gone in about 2 seconds.
