I would rather have no singers at all and have more dancing of all types.

The only singing I require on Strictly is for Craig at some point in the series to get drunk and sing a Christmas song like a drag queen.

Adele is one of the best female live singers around at the moment she would be a great addition to the show.

Jedward are not everyones cup of tea but they would be a lively alternative.

It's a dance programme, singers are only brought in to try to engage those who are more interested in them than dancing, in an attempt to improve the ratings.
If people want to see singers, they can look on YouTube.

I accept that some tunes can be enhanced by the addition of a singer, but Hayley and the rest of the singers in the band are able to do this. How many are there, four? Why do they need more?

There's a deliberate policy to "keep the band in the dark under the stairs" so as not to detract attention from the contestants. So I can't see the point then, in "showcasing" guest singers.

I'd rather the band line up on a stage like the original "big bands" in the dance hall era of the 30s to 50s and show glimpses of them occasionally and showcase the singers during the pro dances, this would in my opinion make it a better "show."

The trouble with the BBC is in my opinion, that they've messed with the format too much in a constant chase for ratings.

I discovered this on youtube.

Vittorio Grigolo is an internationally recognised Italian tenor with a wide operatic repertoire - surely this video confirms that there's a place for the classical and operatic on SCD.

Listen to Rhydian's version

I'd love to see him as guest singer on SCD.

I definitely think the BBC need to up their game when it comes to Strictly musical guests, rather than having golden oldies or second rate performers they need to have really current and relevant artsits perform on the show.

This year I would ideally like (taking into consideration release dates of artists etc.)

Britney Spears (it would be a huge coup for the show)
Beyonce
Jennifer Lopez
Adele
Pixie Lott
Bruno Mars
Enrique Iglesias
Michael Buble
Chris Brown
Maroon 5
Sugababes
The Wanted

The above I think would ALL be fantastic for the show, they are not all neccessarily my personal favourite artists for example The Wanted or Pixie Lott but I think they would be great for the show.
