It'll stop the fans from moaning as Doctor Who will be given a plum 7.00pm ish timeslot but I suspect they'll shove it back earlier come the series finale as it will clash with the first Strictly weekend.
As for half hour filler. They still got three unaired episodes of Don't Scare the Hare in the BBC archive basement.
