One of the big anomalies as usual is the time-shifting figures, which still only include seven days (BARB, I believe are addressing it in future updates).
With PVRs (Sky's at least, who have the lion's share of the market), holding dozens of hours of content there must be a lot of viewing outside the seven day window,
As I assume all the channel shares and hours of viewing are based on BARB's figures, there must be quite a high percentage missing.
If we were BARB panellists a lot of our viewing wouldn't be registered.
This year we stacked up several serials including Marchlands, Kidnap and Ransom and Injustice, to watch in a block when all the episodes were shown. We have three episodes of The Hour to watch when we have the complete series.
I'm sure we're not alone.
