I'd take listening to Beyonce over Fall Out Boy. I used to love Fall Out Boy when I was 13 and thought I was an emo. I saw the light.

Yeah but let's not talk about Razorlight right now lol. There are many proper bands I hate too, but at least whatever fame they have came from their own work. I am not down on any music, I am just telling it how it is, there are no lies in my list. People need to know that these stars are not as great as they think.

You know those infectious melodies that Fall Out Boy have that make so accessible? Well they actually write them themselves, it's called having musical talent.”

Have you ever seen Chili's live? They have the reputation of one of the worst live bands around. Also, I'm sure you know, Chili's wouldn't exist without original R'N'B. Without funk of the 70's/80's, particularly George Clinton, Chili's wouldn't be around.I like Chili's. I've seen them several times, so i'm not being a **** about them (their new stuff is shit though).

With regards to Fall Out Boy, they don't exist any more, and their last good record was Under The Cork Tree.

It's vital to remember that all music influences each other, so don't just rule out one type, because as I said earlier, without the likes of George Clinton, Chili's wouldn't exist. You seem to have good music taste, but don't just rule out music, there's a lot out there

Well good for. A bit too cool for school aren't you? Now that Fall Out Boy is no longer trendy you've moved onto the next trend. By the way what is emo? Care to explain? Fall Out Boy are pop-rock.

I have seen them yes and no they don't have that reputation. They are great live.

Folie A Deux is their best album, they really progressed on it. It's that album that got me back into them.

I just hate those acts I listed. Sick of seeing em on TV and hearing about em.

Ain't none of the bands I listen to been influenced by any of the s**t on that list that's for god damn sure lol.

Yes to Jimmy Eat World! Yes to Rise Against! Yes to Yellowcard! Yes to Gaslight Anthem! Yes to Alkaline Trio! Top notch.

I'll make a list then, in no particular order:

- The Wanted
- Bring Me The Horizon
- Black Eyed Peas
- Limp Bizkit
- Justin Bieber
- Kings of Leon
- Lil Jon
- U2
- Rebecca Black
- Pitbull

Huzzah. It's all about opinions folks.

The reason they're not booked to headline British festivals anymore is because of the 2007 R&L performance, commonly regarded as one of the worst British festival headline performances ever, where even Benn said they would never be booked again. I seen them a couple of times on Stadium Arcadium tour, and they were very hit and miss.

With regards to Fall Out Boy records, it's all subjective isn't it

They all share influences, most people share influences. It's important to look at everything I know it's hard when there's acts in the mainstream always getting press, but the reason bands do well outside the mainstream is because they've got their own following there.

I never saw that performance but look at their live DVD's, they are great on them. Was R&L really that bad? I'll have to check it out.

Yes I'm glad my music isn't all over TV, makes it more special to me.

I'd love to see someone get influenced by Cher Lloyd, how bad would they be lol. Still, two years from now Cher Lloyd will have disappeared and no one will remember her, meantime Jimmy Eat World will be selling out Brixton Academy yet again

No particular order of just POINTLESS artists releasing the same old crap:

Cher Lloyd
Rebecca Black
The Wanted
Justin Beiber
Ke$ha
Pitbull
Whiz Khalifa
LMFAO
Jason Derulo
Cheryl Cole

NONE of these acts will become legends as to me all of their songs sound the same. Sadly, the digital age is KILLING the music charts

I agree with most of your list on a personal level but to call some of them the worst acts in music is a little bit extreme.

I can't stand the music of either but I can accept and respect the influence that Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Aguilera have had towards music and the talent they hold in order to acheive this even though I would rather drink bleach than listen to their work.

Your list definately needs to have the Black Eyed Peas in it, I fail to find any redeeming qualities in their music, it just sounds like... well guff.

Not all council estate residents are chavs, and not all chavs come from council estates.

If you think Cher Lloyd is a chav, fair enough, but looking down on council estates just makes you look like a pompous snob, OP.

We're not all privelliged enough to have a choice, you see.

People should stop worrying about music they don't like imo.

(And tbh they should probably stop listening to it as well.)

Black Eyed Peas
Justin Bieber
Cheryl Cole
Example
Taylor Swift
Jennifer Lopez
Coldplay
N-Dubz
Jimmy Eat World
David Guetta
Snoop Dogg (now)

Will reserve judgement on Cher Lloyd for now after only one song

However, it is all about opinions and everyone will have different lists and tastes. Except everyone hating BEP and Bieber it seems lol.

Ok, are you on drugs? It's albums like Clarity that sum up how beautiful music can be. Seriously I'd love to know what you're into if you think JEW are one of the worst bands ever.

I didn't even realise you had responded until you messaged my inbox with
Quote:
“Dissed
I see you haven't responded to my post. Is that because I absoloutely dissed you?

Good effort in trying to out smart me, better luck next time”

I came back expecting an insult so where is it? All I see is a stupid response much like your other posts and threads. Better luck next time. Who even uses 'dissed' anymore? Are you 12?
