Do we think people will still watch this year's XF without the 'God' and 'Goddess' (and Dannii)?

Let's be honest, that RATM thing can't happen again. RATM won because:
-They received a lot of support from rock and metal fans/artists
-Cowell criticised them
-Joe's winning single was absolute crap and full of irony

Whatever* the winning single is this year, it will outsell the rest of the top 10 combined, no matter who sings it*. If 19 million watch the final and just 2.5% of it buying the winner's single is more than enough to grab the coveted top spot, why bother?

*Even if Wagner won last year and sang Mr. Blobby, it would still out-sell the 250,000 mark.
