She won't sing I don't think, maybe just speak. She sung a song about Cruella De Vil, so a little tribute speech is more likely

Why not??I don't like her that much either, but she's really famous right now so her presence will help.

She's great but a little weird? I don't think a meat dress with a wheelchair is the best way to honour Aaliyah.

I can't even make out the first Beyonce & Alicia video, but I'm sure it was great. I love the one of them dancing to Are You That Somebody, despite it being before her death. Usher's was great as well, and I always respect Drake.

It will still help the message to be spread

Yes, it is a bit low quality but all these videos are rather old so it's very hard to find HQ versions.

Alright, I'll post the most lengthy tribute video that I've found, but it's really low quality and the volume is turned down, so I don't know whether you'll be able to understand what the people in the video are saying.Anyway...

I agree now. We need to introduce Aaliyah to the teens

Don't underestimate the teenagers!I'm a teenager too and Aaliyah was the first international artist I discovered...when I was 5.I am still listening to her music.

Without You

It’s different here without you.
It’s as if there is no sun.
Darkness now surrounds me.
My world seems so undone.

You were my life, my everything,
but now sweetheart you’ve gone.
Somehow I must find faith in God
and let my life go on.

They say time mends a broken heart.
If true, time is my friend.
I’ll count the days until the time
you’re in my arms again

Regardless of who wrote it, it was a beautiful poem.
I'll try to write something for Aaliyah but if it gets too cheesy, I won't post it.

I wonder do those kids not listen to older music and just listen to current chart music? No offence to anyone, just an observation.

Words can't express how I feel
And I still can't believe this is real
A heart of Gold and a Beautiful Soul
The future of Aaliyah we'll never know
A walking Angel and A Beautiful spirit
We Love you Aaliyah and we'll miss you dearest
Never having to see you again
is the biggest lost
But knowing we love you and you
love your fans is what really cost
Remembering your beauty and
remembering your style
But most of all Aaliyah
I'll always remember your beautiful smile.

It was wasn't it

It's a shame there's only three of us at the moment but we're forming friendships, it's what Aaliyah would have wanted

Its the least i can do mate!

I mean i know i only have her third album (i will buy her first two soon!) but that album means a lot to me, very ahead of its time too

I love how empowering her songs were....very effortless! She had a raw appeal and a majestic energy too

I have a feeling that if she was still alive she would have had more timeless releases....like the Black Britney (not the religious figure but you know what i mean!) in terms of longevity. And i think she would have matched Britney in terms of sales etc. and level of hype etc

Become a one named legend like Madonna, Elvis! and be a fantastic contemporary to Beyonce etc.

I rank her up there with Janet, Kylie, Britney THE Princesses of the industry and each so different too!

I also have her last album only but her first album has a spectacular tracklisting, especially this underrated beauty.
