I have had this tv in my kitchen for about 3 years, not sure what model it is - worked fine all that time. It's connected to my lounge tv and sky supply by a cable - I cannot change channels on it, but its no problem to do this in the lounge as I can't be in both rooms watching at the same time.
On Saturday was working normally - turned on on Sunday and there is no sound at all?
I've checked all the cables which seem to be ok and no - it is not on mute.

Is this a simple problem or terminal please?

It only cost me £125 so not looking for a repair if it's not a simple fix

It isn't connected to your lounge Tv, it's connected to the RF output from your Sky box.

You cannot change channels using what?
The Sky remote or the TVs remote?
Are you able to watch programmes via the TVs tuner or do you keep it on the one programme number and change the Sky box channel?
