I Have Trouble Making Out Dialogue On My Old Tele
I have a Phillips television which I have had since the nineties.
But I am finding it harder to hear dramas etc on tele. I wondered if HD televsion because the image will be sharp what about the sound? Is it as good? My old tele the speakers are built in at either side of the tele. Does the flat screen tele's have their speakers also at either side? |

Flat screen tv's are mediocre for the most part. You cannot fit decent speakers into such a thin device. So while some are better than others, if you really are concerned with sound you should get either a soundbar or a home theatre system with the flat screen tv, many are well integrated into the tv's so you don't have to fuss once they are connected together with hdmi audio return feature. Easiest way is to simply buy the same brand, panasonic flat screen + soundbar with audio return or some such setup.
The speakers in many flat screens fire straight down or to the back,...you really are meant to get a separate speaker system. The speakers themselves are flattened oval shaped types, not made for quality, but space. |
