Hello Barbara

Yes Grumpy Drawers is indeed playing up today and of course since Friday my days have been full. However I am embarassed by the amount of quotes I make on the thread so I am also trying to multi-quote where I can in order to cut down on my numbers
Hello Wendy.

I say be proud of being near the top of the list in posters. You are so good at greeting everyone and making them feel welcome; whenever you are able to with all you having going on.
Please don't stop, we love that you do that.

Thanks Barbara but I am truly embarrassed. I was about 150 posts in front of the next person on the thread I was top.

Barbara - are they reporting on the riots in the US?
I couldn't find anything on the news last night when I wanted to.....yesterday it was all about the financial situation, our S&P rating and how far the market has fallen. I did find it a little weird that Piers Morgan was talking about US markets and not what was going on in London, with his CNN gig.

After that, the situation in Syria and the navy seals killed in Afghanistan on Sunday. Only watched for less than an hour.

I was able to find information on cnn.com though to try to keep a little informed.

Riots aren't perhaps so unusual in the States? Every now and then there's a little uprising like here, often provoked initially by the same reason as the one over here.

If you think the FMs aren't aware of the Court Thread's existence, then you haven't been reading for very long!

edit: Several of us have posted on there over the course of the Court Thread's existence, myself included.

JJJLover - I actually thought you were leaving thread for a minute, not funny

FELANGE - ADIOS

I feel like I've got loads done today - its quite a satisfying feeling. I did imagine to myself that when I came back on this afternoon John might have tweeted a few kind words to his followers just wishing them all well during this bad time - wishful thinking Perhaps we will hear from him on his birthday - please John!!!!

I saw a post on the last thread saying Bristolden says John reads his timeline, I wouldn't take that as fact, we don't know if he does or doesn't anymore, it's always been an assumption because of something that was said way back I think about his mother reading it, but I imagine those days have long gone and that they've moved on. Although there's not so much for him to catch up on there now!

Did you see the lyrics for the Cat Stephens song 'Where do the Children Play?'
I think, considering it was written a while ago (1970), it's still relevant today unfortunately.

Well I think it's fine, building jumbo planes.
Or taking a ride on a cosmic train.
Switch on summer from a slot machine.
Get what you want to if you want, 'cause you can get anything.

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Well you roll on roads over fresh green grass.
For your lorryloads pumping petrol gas.
And you make them long, and you make them tough.
But they just go on and on, and it seems you can't get off.

Oh, I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

When you crack the sky, scrapers fill the air.
Will you keep on building higher
'til there's no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

I wonder how Josie would react if she went in and then say two weeks later John went in.
I wonder how they would react to each other.
I think it could go either way tbh but there would definitely be some fireworks.
This would undoubtably make great tv but I don't think BB would be able to persuade John to go in
