I believe my method can reform EastEnders and I am sending it to the BBC.

Axe: Adi, Ash, Ronny, Vicki, Derek, Mo, Garry, Andy, Tariq, Kate, Nana, Minty, Charlie, Little Mo, Gus, Juley, Patrick, Paul and Yolande.

Cast: Ian, Dot, Jim, Jane, Pat, Martin, Pauline, Sonia, Mickey, [INSERT MILLER FAMILY HERE], Billy, Kate, Sam, Phil, Peggy, Alfie, Kat, Spencer, Dennis, Zoe, Chrissie, Den and Sharon.

Get Peggy back behind the bar. Get Den back together with Chrissie. The Ferreira's decide to leave for a fresh start after hearing of their Dad's death. Nana passes away. Vicki goes back to the States with Sharon; the latter leaves when Dennis says he is with Zoe and they are better as brother and sister. Derek leaves after a huge row with Pauline. Ian and Jane marry and are happy (yes.. happy).Kate and Garry get together and make a start away from the Square. Minty leaves after Sam says she doesn't care about him. Andy is killed by Sam, but Phil ensures there is no proof that she did it. Big Mo and Charlie go to live with Little Mo, who leaves Billy. Gus and Juley depart to escape from enemies that Juley has got for stealing/dodgy dealing. Patrick, Paul and Yolande get an invatation from Anthony who has just come into money, to live with him in his new home in the country. New actors for Peter, Lucy and Steven, who returns older than before and a teenager.

The Vic vs Angies Den war resurfaces with the Mitchells vs the Watts.

The big familys are: The Mitchells (Peggy, Phil, Sam and Billy), The Watts (Den, Chrissie, Dennis + Zoe), the Millers (Mickey + family), the Fowlers (Pauline, Sonia, Martin) and the Moons (Alfie, Kat and Spencer), the Beales (Ian, Jane, Steven, Peter and Lucy).

The core of the show is family life as the Watts and Mitchells battle it out, and the Millers and Fowlers clash. The Moon's and Millers strike a friendship. The Millers kids also become friendly with Ian's kids. The Mitchells and Moon's don't see eye to eye, but the Fowlers and Mitchells have their history on their side. Their are many a confrontation when storylines come to a head, with provokative characters taking sides and the natural fisticuffs!

All New EastEnders would show on Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday at 8PM.

I think the reform has to come from the writing - they can do it - the Dot/Den two hander was not bad at all, of course with the marvellous June Brown you can't go wrong, but I think it worked well, a nice balance between drama and comedic lines. What I'd love to see is it stops being the odd good episode, and builds up in quality until its back on form. The cast clearout does need to happen, but it won't improve solidly until the scripts and storylining is boosted dramatically in quality.

i dont like the whole idea of the watts vs the mitchells, the watts are just a no point family, and the mitchels will get dragged down to the poor quality levels of the watts if you have the two families waring again.

The mitchels are to good a family to be dragged down with the watts.

i dont agree with you getting rid of Kate, patrick, yolande, little mo, charlie, garry and nana. i think ian should leave, but not if he gets together with jane.

I like the idea of fowlers not getting along with the millers, this would give pauline to be seen as more of an ice cold bitch.

I dont see why the mitchels and the moons shouldnt get along.

Little Mo should go, too much has happened to her for her to be of any real use to the show in the future.

For the sake of confrontation. Drama.

Lol.. Ridget, do you realise you've both axed and casted Kate?

Anyway, I don't like the idea of axing Nana, Kate (well.. were you talking about axing her or not? ), Patrick, Paul or Yolande.. And I really would like to see Spencer leave.

What has Kate left to stay for?

Nana leaving could force Kat and Alfie apart and lead Kat to leave (maternity)

The Truemans are pointless, what with Paul leaving.

That's up to the writers.. She's single, someway young, there's no love lost between her and the Watts family, and she's friendly with Ian and Jane. If as many characters as you've suggested were axed, the plot supply for the remaining characters would dry up in no time.. especially since you seem to be focusing on keeping as many decent families together as possible. The Trumans are useful for comic relief, and EE definitely needs more of that. All the feuding would get tedious in no time too.. Nah, I'd just kill off the deadwood specifically. Keep whatever characters are well-acted and have some history in the square.. Not the likes of Minty though. I totally agree that he needs to go.

She's had her time! She and the majority of the other Slaters need the boot too.

Well they're all going to stay because LB wants to milk them and a new long-lost-never-spoken-or-heard-of-before one is coming. Great
