THE Woolpack pub from telly soap Emmerdale is up for sale at £450,000.

Owners Brian and Jenny Pickard, 54, have decided to sell up because of the stress of fans flocking to the pub.

Brian, 57, said: “We’ve had 360 coach parties this year. People come from all over the world.”

The pub, in Esholt, West Yorks, was used from Emmerdale Farm’s beginning in 1972.

But production of the ITV soap moved to a set in Leeds with a mocked up version of the Woolpack in 1996 when the “Farm” part of the title was ditched.
