We've moved! I hate this - it will take me ages to find things again.

KK - quick - we need something familiar

I bodded off for an hour and come back to find the house empty and all the lights off.

Anyone else here?

No, think they must have all got lost en route. Shall we send out a search party? Or shall we wait a while?

Damnit! New thread...

Tomorrow morning I shall prepare more favourite things picspams as I believe there are a few new entries for anything that isn't SCD. For now the thread will have to be greeted by a Secret Britain picspam which will be arriving in a few minutes

Hellaw All

Came in late just catching up with posts at no 7and find have been relocated to No 8 Thud Towers. Just putting out the hanging baskets, hanging the pictures (Holmfirth takes pride of place) and just putting on the kettle. Tea anyone??
Will have to catch TIS tomorrow.

Off course as an almost geriatric I have been inspired by Mrs BC her of the famous chest to twirl round with a duster

Just to add a comment about circuses- I DONT LIKE THEM EITHER- but I think there s an exception to every situation and please move over Bakerettes, can we all be included on the front row should Barnum appear in the Big Top. Lycra, biceps trapezes, moustaches - Help havent plugged the freezer in yet

Excuse the ignorance - what are tunnocks tea cakes

I recall a lenghty twitter convo about them

They are like biscuit base, with a sort of marshmallowy/creamy top, covered in chocolate.

Tunnocks are very famous Scottish bakers

Their caramel logs are also noteworthy

I didn't do that. Instead I let the shot carry on for a second hoping the camera would move that way. Then had to stop and rewind when it didn't

I was slightly ashamed of myself for immediately trying to get to the "centre" shot

I liked my old abode, this doesn't feel like home yet.

We've only been here for just over an hour and we've already embraced shallowness, tunnock teacakes (a fav in our house), spam sandwiches, wallpaper choices (thank you KK, you know what we want) and all things MB-related.

Thanks for putting the kettle on Lotus. . Did you manage to switch the fridge on, it will be imperative to have it operating tomorrow once KK has decorated the walls. Can I have double trouble above my bed please.

Well, the move happened so quickly and unexpectedly, I suppose by tomorrow it'll feel cosier in here.

I don't know if this would be at all possible, or even if it has been done before, but is there any chance of a pic of the "We're gonna go ridiculous" DS interview.

That was my favourite look ever, longer hair, very dishevelled and sexy as hell. I know that you are a miracel worker If it's not possible, then that's okay - I love the rest of the list as well

Now the carpet has been laid (a necessity for impending thudding), the furniture moved into the correct position, there'll be a cosier feel to the new homestead tomorrow.

The fridge freezer will hopefully be in full working order, this is absolutely vital as after the hot wallpaper (as chosen by KK) has been pasted, there'll be megathudding like you've never seen before. Either a cold shower (can I be first in the queue in the morning) will be required or sanctuary will be sought in the confines of the salad compartment of the fridge. Viewing of extreme wallpaper will result in a scramble to grab the best position in the freezer drawers, probably tucked in between mint choc ice-cream and fish fingers.

So I hope everyone is comfy and cosy in their new little beds, dreaming of FBB (bee, maybe 'tonight's the night'), I will turn out the lights and say CCM, lovely ladies. xx

Morning everyone,

Well I see most people have found their way here

Stargazer, I'ved removed the fish fingers from the freezer (thought I'd have a lazy supper tonight!) so there should be room.

Walls are already looking nice thanks to kk, and should be even better when new pics arrive. All we need now to make us really happy is a little news from you know who. Keeps fingers crossed.

Hellaw Rita and everyone.

Hope everyone had a good night's sleep and are refreshed and ready to finish furnishing our new abode.

The curtains adorned with a swirly design incorporating pottery, butterfiies and samba shirts are now up, I have carefully arranged my pallet memorabilia on the shelves and we are ready and waiting for KK's wallpaper to arrive.

Thanks by the way, KK, for the classic SB pics, wonderful in every way as always.

Hope everybody has a great Friday and you will be wlecomed home this evening at No. 8 with a glass of delicious beetroot wine or a pint of Guinness, a bowlful of cheesy puffs and the delectable MB.
