Haha,Shaun!

How annoying, how long will he be staying then?

He has to go, hes just irritated me more in 30 seconds than any other character this year. The Man CAN'T ACT

How awful can you get?

We need "Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!" and "Get rid..." merging.

He's the worst thing in Coronation Street since Nicky Tilsley (the first one!)!

worse. The backlash had better be BIG!

I want petitions and lynch mobs, anything less will do the situation a disservice

I might even lift my hand and write to Coronation Street!

I knew it would be like this, even some people on the Todd snared thread don't like him!

Out with Sean!

I hope the ghost of Elsie Tanner comes to haunt Number 11 and kills him.

I thought Warren was annoying, give me him any day over Shaun.

I am a gay guy and i find this new guy very bad. He needs some botox to clam his face down - notice the movements in his face and eyes whenever he speaks. I dont mind camp people at all - but hes very OTT.

Why don't they just make Noris gay?

I liked the guy and I took to his character right away. I thought some of his scenes were amusing. Yes, at the moment his acting is over the top but let's all give him time to settle in and to calm down before we all judge him.

I agree.. I found the lecture he gave to Eileen about hair-care pretty funny. As were his comments about Big Brother, and the risk of him having to settle for accommodation that could lead to a pigeon nest on his head.

I have to say despite my earlier misgivings I did find him quite funny. I'm gay myself and although slightly OTT I found him quite entertaining. Now, that was just two episodes of him, we'll see how he develops in the coming weeks.

I don't know where all of this has come from! Shaun was asked to come back because he was popular the first time he was on the show! Hes only been in 2 episodes. Give him a chance. The writers can't keep him acting so OTT like this forever. I'm sure it will tone down soon. So far, I like him!!

He was in 'Queer as folk.' played the same type of OTT character there too.

He was funny, especially with Eileen, I think shes good at comedy, so the scenes between should be hillarious

I hope their double act is good, Corrie usually does well with them

Sean and Eileen worked so well together. He should defo stay. Bring more comedy to the street, especially now Karen is going.

People will warm to him I'm sure. Karen isn't the only source of comedy though!

Sh'es not, but her and Steve work so well together. Tonight's was just so full of comedy. Well done to Daran Little - tonight's writer.

Yes hats off to him, it was executed beautifully.

Blanche, Jack, Vera, the factory girls - all sources of comedy

I thought he would be awful after reading peoples opinions of him on here. I was a little sceptical at first...until I noticed my mum nearly crying with laughter at him and actually saying he was "nice"...bless her! Then I thought, any premeditated ideas of him I would lose, and found myself laughing at him too!

A lot of people don't and won't like him because he's camp. They look at Todd and Karl and see them as 'normal' and therefore acceptable. I'm only 38 and am gay. I grew up with only 2 gay men on TV. Larry Grayson and John Inman. And that was it. If anyone thought gay they thought of them two and thought all gay men were like that. I'm not. I never associate myself with them, and like many people I resented them. I know see them as 'fun'. Not a sterotypical gay man. But part of the whole gay 'thing'. Live and let live. Accept and love everyone. Life's too short.
