I'm having one of them moments where I'm just about sick of everything on my media player and I want to discover some new artists/songs.

Can anybody recommend anything I might like? I'm looking for some dance music perhaps, or something like Clare Maguire - Ain't Nobody (Breakage Mix) with a haunting voice and a great beat I can listen to on an evening. Or something similar to Nero - Guilt or Chase & Status - Time.

I'm also a pop music lover and I like The Saturdays, Jessie J, t.A.T.u. etc so any unknown pop could be good too. Cheers

Not sure if you'd like it but the Suckerpunch movie soundtrack is pretty good, should give it a listen!

Roisin Murphy's Overpowered album is quite good. I'd describe it as a quirky electro album and one of my favourites. Check it out!

If were talking La Roux remixes, have you heard the Major Lazor LP? Was available for free, some good remixes on there of La Roux!

I recommend Katy B if you like dance music. She has a slight dub step vibe to it as well but not full on.

This is a link to her record label's VEVO where you will find her songs released so far as well as several remixed versions of her songs.

yeah I forgot to mention her. I love her album at the moment, and I'm not usually into dubstep/dance music.

Sia is a very good one as another poster said.

I wasn't too aware of her until her work with Xtina, but her albums are quite spectacular

I think I'd heard the name before her work with Christina, but I actually took the time to listen to Sia's music after her work with Christina.

Yeah same, I'm sure I heard Breathe me somewhere before, but I was so fond of the tracks she did with Xtina I decided to give her new album a listen and I loved it!

Not sure if it falls into pop but The Asteroid Galaxy Tour are the best band to form in recent years IMO, real unique sound.

Their most famous song:
