At PAX it was revealed that the FemShep is a redhead! I'm happy with that because that's usually the colour I use for me Shepard, although I do think if she was a brunette, she would look similar to Jennifer Hale. The people that were there got posters of the FemShep signed by Hale, I'm so jealous!

I found the combat a lot easier in ME1 and also found that my allies were willing to do all the kills for me if I stood back. In ME2 I found myself having to drive the action.

What specifically do you want to change?

Mass Effect 3 (PS3) for me is the 1st time I've ever pre-orderd a Collectors Edition version of a game
and I'm more than happy to pay the price...

Just a shame my perfect Mass Effect 2 file that I spent a solid week on got ruined by Tail dying at the end but hey ho I never use her so no big deal

I've seen some more footage of the gameplay and it looks so awesome. The weapon loadout and the RPG elements look fantastic and it's all so blue and cool! Oh I'm very excited about this.

I have a friend who is a total Tali fanatic and he would spit nails over what you just said. I never really understood his obsessive love until I lost Garrus who took a rocket to the face.

I abandoned the game out of guilt and started again, aiming for the perfect playthrough. Stupid friggin Jacob screwed it up the second time, but he sucks and is not coming back anyway so I left it at that.

Don't start again! I lost Tali and Thane in my first run, so I started again with my first file and was able to begin again at about level 40 rather than starting from scratch.

I NEVER play with Tali or Thane, but I just wanted the perfect ending so I refused to let them die!

I honestly never used her...
My main team is a mix of
Grunt, Jacob, Miranda or Garrus

But since I have till March 6th I might give a perfect file another go and see if I can save everyone...

Tip for saving everyone...

Do everyone's loyalty mission. Giving Tali's dad's information loses her loyalty.
Use Tali or Kasumi to go into the tunnel in the end mission.
Use Garrus or Miranda to lead the second team.
Leave Garrus and Grunt behind to man the gate, because they have the best defensive capabilities and can help prevent others from dying.
Send someone loyal back with the crew - maybe Kasumi or Mordin, as they're the weakest and least likely to survive the final battle. Thane, maybe? Tali if you're particularly concerned about her. As far as I can tell, if someone's loyal they're guaranteed to survive taking the crew back to the ship.
That meant that I took Jack (for biotic abilities) and Mordin (with full-powered incinerate, which the collectors are vulnerable to, the harbinger in particular) into the final battle. Mordin is the weakest character, so keeping him with me meant that I could keep him alive instead of trusting the others at the gate.

Voila!

Honestly Ive done the game a few times on the 360 saved everyone....got rid of 360
So PS3 Mass Effect 2 I've done a few times and saved everyone...
But when I was going for a perfect save file for number 3 she died and I racked my mind to how it happened cos I did nothing different to one of my past files where I saved everyone.

But with so long to go before the 3rd I have enough time to do a new perfect save file more than once

I don't think you should use Kasumi for the tunnels. I think it's Tali and Legion that are the best options as they are the tech expert but I agree with everything else. I like to take Miranda with me for the final fight because I like the dialogue when you tell the Illusive Man to go suck it

I hope they don't change the gameplay levels - I love the games, I'm just not that great at them, and if they make them toooooooooo difficult I'll never finish them. The normal level in ME2 was just right for me.

Which could mean that everybody gets to play exactly the game they want. Or could mean that everyone's game turns onto some weird homogonised thing where everything is not quite as good as it could have been if they had concentrated on one area...

Apparently the 'RPG' mode is the full balanced experience (which is what I'll be playing).
