Lost/mislaid contract phone help
Mislaid my Vodafone contract phone. Cheap phone so not worried about that, really need to keep number though:
1. Am I able to contact Vodafone ask them to suspend sim card/lock phone, but be able to reactivate the sim and phone should I find it again? 2. Where are the text messages and numbers stored? 3. If the sim is locked will this prevent anyone seeing the numbers and text? |

1. They will be able to bar the sim card until you either find the phone or request a new simcard, number and contract details will stay the same
2.Text messages on the phone, numbers, really depends what you chose as the settings, most are phone unless you change them. 3.Barring a sim will only make the user unable to make a call/send a text. They will still be able to go through the phone itself and see texts/pictures etc. |

Unless you had a phone that you could wipe remotely or lock down.....Might be worth considering when you get a replacement...
