I don't often buy ready meals, but in 'my single girl too pissed on a Sunday afternoon to cook' times, my friend and I would buy tesco macaroni cheeses, and I would always put a dollop if English mustard in it. Delicious

I occasionally have a kiddies M&S meal and I make my own salad to have on the side (and grill a pitta bread too)
Does that count?

I almost always add something in the form of condiments into the sauce to give it more depth. Soy, vinegar, hot sauce, ketchup, bbq.

To shop-bought pizza, I'll add fresh tomatoes and/or cheese if I have any in and I add chilli powder to most food items (including pizza). I also often have an avocado with everything and anything...which is a bit weird but I love them and pretty much always have them in...

A sliced up red or green chilli onto a frozen pizza is just the ticket
Wish I had one cooking right now, in fact... |

Doesn't everyone???
![]() Frozen macaroni cheese (when I can't be bothered to make it) - extra cheese and chopped fresh tomatoes. I also sometimes stir in some chopped up ham after cooking. Ditto with pizzas - maybe also adding extra peppers or mushrooms (or whatever I've got in the fridge), but always adding olive oil. Supernoodles - I only use half of the sachet of flavouring, and then add whatever I've got in the fridge out of mushrooms, ham, tomatoes, peppers, onions. Baked beans or tinned spaghetti - I always add Worcester sauce (or Reggae Reggae sauce now that I'm a bit addicted to it) |

Depends - sometimes I make half the ready meal and make some new potatoes or steamed veg to go with them, depending on if I can be bothered with the kerfuffle of setting up the steamer!

Yes, all the time, well, when I actually buy a ready meal, which isn't often.
Take a ready meal lasagne. Add more cheddar to the top, then parmesan. Grind black pepper on it and splash some Tabasco. Then put it in the oven. |

For Instant Mash I add some grated Extra Mature Cheddar, and If I have got it one of the pots of Sour Cream and Chives from a McDonalds meal, along with a bit of low fat spread, Garlic Salt and Pepper.

I've added soy sauce to baked beans before, make them nice and rich.
