I thought both were brilliant. Actually thought Sean was very funny, but because he's so camp he should just be a novelty character for an episode or two, not a long term character.
Very glad Durty Durty Den is gone now for two months. Just hope when he does come back, Chrissie isn't going to give him an easy time of it.
Actually the annoying point in EE was Den & Chrissie overusing the word "kids". These "kids" are all grown ups, not ten year olds!!

I think Sean will die into the background after his moment in the limelight.

Chrissie was asking him to change but he said he couldn't and got in Chrissie's cab she called when she stormed out, after packing his bags.

He's gone to Spain!

You could read the BBC episode updates? They're vague but probably more precise than me hehe

Tonights episode of Corrie was by Daran Lytlle and Sean the over camp gay appears, Maybe it was just coincidental.

Dont stop watching Corrie, Ben its like me hating the Apeman on The Bill. I just ignore him.

Even the BBC Blob under his new id is being nice

I may just tape part of the omnibus on Sunday. Its not repeated any other time is it (apart from 10pm on BBC3 which i didn't bother watching either).

Who is BBC Blob and whats his new name?

I think Daran wanted to write the new gay in. I also think Ben should just.. I dunno, put the mute button on and cover his eyes when he comes on or something

Ben and I have worked it out but as he is being nice to everyone we will not unmask him.

Ben should do what I do. Tape The Bill and when any ape related scenes come on fast forward them. Result = less remotes thrown at TV, no foul language and blood pressure way down.

Nice tactic, let Ben know it. He can watch Corrie at 8:30 after his now favourite soap EastEnders

That's the old Alf Garnet argumenet though, isn't it? She's such a horrible, extreme character, that not many people (old or not!) would want to identify with her.

Or go to

if you want a humorous version. Unfortunately they haven't got last night's episode up yet (must be having a lie-in) but it will appear in due course.

How could one character stop you wanting to watch Corrie, Ben? He will probably not be in most episodes anyway. Just turn down the sound when he's on if he offends you that much.

Overall I thought Corrie was great - but yes, as someone else said, the mouth organ stuff was embarrassing.

Ree EE, I'm surprised there hasn't been more praise for the episode last night. I thought it was mostly very well written, so Tony Jordan hasn't lost it completely. The scenes between Dot and Jim were very compelling - and he actually gave all the characters an emotional hinterland and complexity which other writers don't achieve. There was a good line in the Chrissie/Den section, "All you've done since you got back here is stand there with your hands in your pockets, sighing and looking at the ceiling". I think Tony's been reading this forum

The only let-down was Leslie G. After a good ep with June Brown, he was back to the emotionless, bored lets-get-it-over-with routine. I suspect that's because the ep had to be re-written, as presumably originally Chrissie was going to take him back, but then Leslie got suspended. However he could have made a bit more effort to get her back - after his revelations in the launderette surely he would have been more open with her. That didn't ring true at all. But Chrissie was great as always, and I thought it her script, refusing to have him back, was very convincing - just poor writing for Leslie G.
