Hello and welcome! I am surprised Nerina hasn't already got an AT! So what are your thoughts on Year of the Wolf?

I don't like it as much as Fires or The Graduate. It's actually a tad dull... I'd say it's roughly on par with Dear Frustrated Superstar...

I like Year Of The Wolf a lot, I played it a lot yesterday.

I don't think it's as good as some of her previous material, but it's pretty damn good.

Keep up the good work Nerina!

Fires is probably my favourite album. Especially All Good People, Sophia and Everybody's Gone To War!

Thank you! The Graduate is close behind but it's got a BIT of filler whereas Fires has none.

If Ms. Pallot's albums were cakes, Fires would be the delicious soft chocolate broken biscuit cake warmed up with two spoons of ice cream and a glass of vino.

I didn't know she had one, but I'll start today!

Is she interesting/funny on it? I don't want my timeline filled with promo trash unless it's Britney.

Love Nerina. I Like YotW but compared to her earlier works it's not quite as strong. I loved The Graduate, especially English. Fires is certainly her best work, there's hardly a bad song on it.
My fave songs overall are English, Mr King, Idaho, Everybody's Gone To War, Confide In Me, Learning To Breathe

I follow Nerina on twitter she's actually quite amusing.

Fires and The Graduate are two of my favourite albums. Such fantastic efforts.

I took me a bit longer to get into TG, so thought maybe that was the case with YotW...but I'm not sure now. I want to like it more than I do. Grace is beautiful though.

I don't think it's as strong, and it doesn't have enough light hearted pop moments to balance it all out like her previous albums did. Not a whole lot of variety either, which is a shame.

She did say she was thinking of doing a more 'pop' album later in the year though.

Fires could possibly be my favourite album of all time. I absolutely love The Graduate too. Yeah like I said before YotW is a tad dull... It's just behind Dear Frustrated Superstar...

DFS (lol) did have great moments like Dear Frustrated Superstar, Blood Is Blood, Patience, If I Know You, though.

I think YotW would have benefited from having her versions of Aphrodite and Better Than Today.

Like I said, Grace is my favourite right now. I Do Not Want What I Do Not Have, Butterfly, All Bets Are Off, Seventeen and History Boys may be promoted to favourites too.

I'm hoping this album will just take some more time to settle in.

Alien's probably my favourite song of DFS! Yeah that might've helped. I think besides Fired YotW is her most critically acclaimed. I'm still waiting for Fires 2...

Nerina is brilliant - seeing her for the 2nd time in October.
Love YOTW finally - it took a lot of listening - those hooks are hidden well....but my faves are Seventeen (with Minnie Riperton sample), History Boys, Turn Me On Again, Will You Still Love Me and I Think.
I've had the demos for I Do Not Want What I Do Not Have since 2008, Grace since 2007 and This Will Be Our Year (on the Junebug EP)....so they don't feel like new recordings to me - in fact I prefer the demo for This Will Be Our Year and have replaced it with the album version

Her best album is still Fires - Learning To Breathe is one of my favourite songs of all time!.... the b-sides from it are equally as good as the rest of Fires, would love a CD quality "Vena Cava" instead of the vinyl rip....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZCY0mrxTTU
and her cover of Love Will Tear Us Apart...words fail me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ega_kJQF0GY

I'm seeing her at some point. Well she told me that Grace is her favourite track so I kinda started loving it after that. Fires is definitely my favourite album of all time now that I think about it. Peg could quite possibly be my favourite Nerina song. It was such a huge shame that it never got a release.

She told you that? cool, it's kind of strange that it took so long to appear on an album - was written between Dear Frustrated Superstar and Fires
