Stopping my HTC from making sounds when I type on it

As it says really - I have a wildfire s and when I send a text or type on it the phone makes a kind of vibrating sound. I have worked out how to make everything else on it silent but can't work out how to silence that ... any ideas anyone?

I have the HTC Desire, so I'm not sure the settings are exactly the same but - settings, then sound, then uncheck both audible touch tones and haptic feedback.

I had this issue and i resolved it by getting an app called thickbuttons. There is an option in the app to disable the vibrate.
