I'm thinking of dumping Sky+ (non HD) and getting a Humax Foxsat HDR box instead.

On my non HD sky+ box I can archive any programmes I want to keep to my Sony DVD Recorder.

- Am I right in thinking SD programmes would be recordable just the same from the Humax box?

- What about HD recordings? Can the Humax box output these in SD via scart and therefore be recorded to DVD too? Or would I have to record anything I wanted to archive in SD to the Humax box inthe first place?

Any advice from current owners gratefully received.

Thanks,

Frids.

Yes, just the same, it will play SD out the SCART socket whatever the source.
