Oh, by the way, a year ago today Jo was evicted but it was also the day that John suddenly became overly touchy-feely of our Jose asking her "You wanna have sex tonight?" It was also the day that Josie was given her ticket to the final and that very special moment that made everyone squee - the three kisses moment. He was so happy for her, wasn't he

So, I've done a few epics before, and none for a long time as I pretty much have said everything about myself that I can. Anyway, today is about this amazing thread (and probably how it's affected me ha ha )

200 threads - or 199.5 as I see now lol (50 with the on-topic as I jokingly said on twitter ). First thing I want to say is how proud I am to be a member of DS and a poster on the JJJAT. It has, in many ways, changed my life - for the better

We all watched John and Josie's love story, were glued to it to the detriment of health, home and house, we lost sleep, weight but hopefully no family members over it Have to say I've never recovered my sleep pattern since, but being a night-owl I don't mind at all.

The JJJAT has survived the ups and downs of John and Josie's story - the falling in love, the moving in together, the turbulent relationship and dreadful split. We are still here. I think we should all be proud of that fact, I know I am

I tried to explain to somebody on twitter yesterday what the JJJAT is now and why it's still going. My explanation was that it is now a community of people, a sanctuary for some. There are discussions about John and Josie yes, different opinions are expressed, different views held and different impressions formed.

However that is not just what the JJJAT is about anymore. It's about friendship, community, a sense of self, support for not only John and Josie but for each other, a support system that has grown from FMs getting to know each other, forming friendships and even supporting those they may not quite gel with.

For me the AT has given me a voice. I have never really been a gregarious person - I do disappear during the long chatty evenings when it's really busy, I find I can't cope and don't know everybody as well as others do, I'm the same at a party, the wallflower

However, posting on the AT has enabled me to become more sociable - I've had the amazing pleasure of meeting three wonderful people because of this AT and would love to meet more - to put forward my point of view knowing that others might not agree but understanding that I do have a voice and can express an opinion. I enjoy the different opinions others have and sometimes even change mine after a good discussion.

There are cliques yes, various labels attached to groups here and there. This happens in any community. As long as we all respect each other, which most of the time we do, then there's no issue.

I'd like to thank Digital Spy really, for allowing the thread to continue in the vein that it has - lots of off-topic chat amongst the JJJ talk, I would like to think that it's because they respect and understand the fact that we come from a good place and tend to leave us to it as we aren't harming anybody. We know they are there when we need them, and the self-regulation does work well. So thank you Digital Spy.

I also just want to thank every FM for being a part of this thread, my cyber-family (still, even though I'm more often on twitter... I ended up there because of the AT after all). You all lend a bit of meaning to my life, a bit of spark to my day and a support system I have very much needed. Thank you.

*6.20pm Some of the HM's (Nathan, Josie, Corin, Govan, Shabby and Caoimhe) are at the carousel talking about John James. Josie updates them “I'm finding myself ignoring more and more people (laughs) I'll just totally blank him now” (The little group have a good ol' giggle) “I was so friendly before .. that's the way the world goes innit?” They all laugh along and Shabby says 'we knew we weren't all gonna get along with each other, were we?'

*John James, Ben and Sunshine are in the bedroom talking about Josie -

JOHN: And I don't care if my f---ing insult was justified or not .. she kept f---ing going .. I said to her stop STOP or I'm gonna keep going .. she kept going and going and going .. I let a few more go past .. I'm the most .. I would cop sh-t..
BEN: Johnny, I know.. John, John as you would say to me.. don't keep on repeating yourself cos I agree with you .. they took it too far.
JOHN: I couldn't give a f—k if I'm here or not.. I really couldn't give a f—k! I'm over this sh-t! (packing up stuff) this house has f—ked me off!!
BEN: Do you want a cup of tea?
JOHN: Nah!

Oh yes, Benji put the kettle on!!! What a fine solution – John wants to leave the house because one of his best friends is refusing to speak to him.. but by all means, go ahead – because a cuppa has magical properties that can FIX any feud, right?? At this point he doesn't even seem phased by his insult to Josie or bothered about it possibly hurting her feelings. He is still hung up on the what he saw as her 'going and going and going' at me and comes over as more concerned over the way SHE made HIM feel .. rather than worried about how she is feeling too.

*John goes to sit on the sofa while Josie is in the kitchen. John turns round to look at Josie – she sees him and comes out.

JOHN: (Unamused) No I'm being f---ing serious, I'm not happy!!
JOSIE: What with me?
JOHN: Yeah!
JOSIE: I couldn't give a sh-t! (clearly she could)
JOHN: (Raising his voice) You can't f---ing .. you can't just keep going, Josie and just f---ing insulting people and insulting people.. I asked you to stop and you didn't .. and you just f---ing kept going ..
JOSIE: Oh what? My turn now is it? You finished with Rachel .. it's Josie's turn is it?
JOHN: Why did you still keep going on at me? (hands outstretched in front of him)
JOSIE: (Thumbs up to him) Alright love!
JOHN: I asked you to stop .. I had sunstroke .. I've got ..
JOSIE: (Snaps back at him) Shut up, you f---ing idiot!!
JOHN: Why did you f---ing keep going? .. and then I insult ya..
JOSIE: Shut up, John..
JOHN: … and you crack the sh-ts like a little f—king girl ..

I can't be sure if any of the insults that Josie gave to John actually wounded him deeply or if he was just angered and exasperated as she kept on and wouldn't stop when he wanted her to be quiet. As much as Josie pretended she wasn't cut up about any of John's comments back – it was obvious that they had struck a nerve with her .. she knew that she didn't have any spiteful intentions with her words (even if they came across that way to John) but John had to hit that little harder to 'win' and to make her shut up. I would agree that it isn't right to be insulting anyone .. if they are insults that are truly meant by the insulter .. but if you have that kind of banter with your friend normally you wouldn't think anything of it .. you'd see it as harmless as usually they know you don't mean anything by it! (I share this kind of banter with my friends which isn't to everyone's humour and sometimes when people overhear us .. who aren't close with us they think we dislike each other!! But those who KNOW us are aware that it's just what we do and that we LOVE each other immensely. I can only be like this with my best friends though!) John in fact was first to 'crack the sh-ts!!' so to speak and Josie IS a girl!

Josie walks away and John gets up to follow her back into bedroom. He doesn't want to drop it and is unrelenting with her near the closet.

JOHN: (Desperate for answers) I asked you to stop but you just kept going at me!! WHY??
JOSIE: No, I never John!
JOHN: Yeah, you did .. you dii..
JOSIE: I never.
JOHN: (Stammers furiously) I heard you. Why lie?
JOSIE: (Walks back past him) I'm not bothered .. I'm not bothered if you don't ever talk to me again ..
JOHN: But that's not the point .. I asked you to stop..
JOSIE: You're really p---ing me off!
JOHN: You're supposed to be my friend .. I asked you to stop.. nicely..
JOSIE: Why are you still going on about it then? Can you stop? Now! I'm asking you to stop.. so can you stop now?
JOHN: Why didn't you stop when I asked you?
JOSIE: Stop what? What's the matter?
JOHN: When have I ever dished it out at you ..
JOSIE: I'm not gonna have a go at you John.. (turns her back on him and heads towards the bedroom door) just get on, innit.. get on!
JOHN: (Calls after her) But you're the one that's cracking the sh-ts!
JOSIE: GET ON!! Jog on.

Josie leaves and John looks gutted.
JOHN: F—k it!! I'm out of here (breathes heavily)

I honestly believe John expected Josie to apologise for the way she had treated him and couldn't understand why she wouldn't. He didn't 'get' at all that she wouldn't give in to him and do as he asked WHEN he told her to stop! When no apology was forthcoming and he could see that Josie was serious too that she wouldn't stand for this .. he seemed stumped and didn't know what he ought to do next. He wouldn't be the one to say sorry first as he felt that he was in the right and Josie, the wrong .. and I doubt any girl before Josie had ever spoken back to him like this ever in his life!! Maybe because he wasn't getting his way – Josie hadn't stopped, she hadn't showed any remorse or tried to make it up to him and now she was asserting that SHE didn't CARE and didn't have any desire to speak with him any more.

MARIO (to Josie in the living room) The love begins (!!)
JOSIE: (Laughs) .. why are you following me about? (addressed to John as he has 'followed' her out)
JOHN: (Pressing diary room buzzer) I'm NOT f--king following you! (Bangs on the diary room buzzer with his fist)
JOSIE: Going to have a moan about me in the diary room?
JOHN: F—k off Josie, as if I'd f---ing waste my time!! (screws up his face and turns his head away. He looks emotional)

John in diary room breathes deeply suffering from extreme emotional anguish

JOHN: Aaaah! F—K!! I'm um .. (his hands form a triangle on top of his head) I don't think I wanna be here any more (looks down, takes hat off and wipes his eyes) F—K!!
BB: Can you explain to Big Brother what the matter is, John James?
JOHN: JOSIE!! She's meant to be my mate .. but she just kept rilin' me and going me and going me and going me .. I just couldn't take it any more (wipes his eyes with his hanky) I've got a F--KING headache and she just kept ridin' me and ridin and ridin' .. and just kept going .. (folds his arms across his chest) and like I know she's only mucking around and I know she's only making sh-t up but it just F--KS me off!! .. and I never say anything back to her cos I'm.. I'm not like that .. I don't .. I just don't know if I can handle it any more (arms above head) I'm f—king over it .. I've had enough!!

John couldn't bear to stay in a house where someone he thought so much of now had no time for him! He just could not comprehend WHY she was saying these things when she was supposed to be his friend .. and knowing that he was in pain. He also acknowledges that he does know that she was messing around and that nothing she had said in the bedroom had any malicious intent behind it. Although, he does seem to forget that he HAD retaliated and made a nasty comment too (which he admitted to in the bedroom to Sunshine and Ben) so he was aware that he had! I don't think the reasons for him wanting to leave were purely down to Josie – he said weeks later that he'd felt ganged up on at this time by her and Govan (his two closest allies) and they were giving him sh-t! Not only that but he was feeling like crap because of his headache and having a poxy day as it was .. plus he still wasn't sure who he could trust in the house – so his emotions were all over the place. What a mind melt for him!!!
