Behave! Corrie focusing too much on the gay market? Because a gay character has come in? I have met quite a few gay people in my time, this does not mean the world is turning gay? Also, by having gay characters in The Street does not mean gay people are more inclined to watch does it? I love the new character...well at the mo.

I'd be very interested to know what your impression of what the 'fan base' consists of. Corrie has been sustained for many years now by a large gay audience who have enjoyed the underlying campness throughout especially characters like Bet Gilroy, (more like a drag queen than somke drag queens!)

Todd was the first openly gay character though in the soap for 40 years, long overdue considering Eastenders were featuring gay characters 19 years before Corrie were (Michael Cashmore).

In that respect its high time more gay characters were given prominence. Antony Cotton is fab by the way as Sean can't wait to see how things develop with him and Jason as he told Todd last night that he wasn't his type and that he preferred the 'builder type'.
