Monday 4 November
Ronnie is left feeling uneasy when she sees that Kat and Alfie still share a bond. Tuesday 5th November Kat decides to involve herself in Roxy and Alfie’s relationship when she sees Alfie taking his anger and upset out on Roxy. Doesn't sound as if the plot moves on much in early November ![]() I just wish that Ronnie wasn't imvolved with Kat and Alfie so much. Its a reminder of Ronnie's last storyline and not the greatness that came before that. Edit: 17,000 post

More enjoyable scenes tonight! Ronnie's building herself up again - I can see the fire and ice in her eyes again!

Last scene between Michael and Ronnie - always great to watch together. Touched a nerve mentioning his mother!
I cringed at the "yer a Mitchell". AAARRRGGH no more please, we get it she's a Mitchell. It was nice to see her getting her groove back and her scenes with Lola are nice (Danielle mark 2). Phil comes to his senses at the end of the episode. It was weird seeing her in the Vic again and someone slap Sharon for me. |

Yes I am fed up of the "I am a Mitchell/we are Mitchells" phrase but I was glad that Phil came round and Ronnie will go back to live with him.
Absolutely adore Lola and Ronnie together. They are so sweet and Ronnie's soft and maternal side comes out with her in an understated way. Can't wait to see the dynamic with Roxy. Yes Michael and Ronnie are great. I posted in the episode thread that it is a shame more couldn't have been done with them. I love how Michael hates himself for desiring Ronnie. His obsession with Ronnie could have been a fascinating dark story. I don't want to say much about Sharon in the other threads as it will definitely be attacked as biased or whatever. Sharon is bitter that Jack dumped her because he loved Ronnie and that Phil put Ronnie in charge over Sharon. The baby swap is just a ploy for Sharon to use as an excuse to release her bitterness over Jack choosing Ronnie and for Phil putting Ronnie in charge. |

She's been such a breath of fresh air after a VERY disappointing couple of years. She was never one of my favourite characters, but I did like her, and she has improved the show so much since her return that she's fast become one.

I kind of like that Ronnie is so involved with Kat and Alfie...I just wish it was more with Kat than Alfie. Sam & Jessie really do have great chemistry...and, therefore, so do Ronnie and Kat. Their scenes together are always amazing. I said from the very day that we learned what was to happen with Tommy & James that it was a mistake, simply because it would ruin any chance of them being friends. Even now, even though it's entirely implausible and everyone on DS would be in an uproar, I wish that there was some way they could overcome the past enough so that they could be more than just cordial to each other. It's such a waste, imo.

Hey Desi,
so glad you are now a fan of Ronnie which I agree has been a breath of fresh air.Hey Guido good to see you back posting ![]() I totally agree. Lola is Danielle and Roxy rolled in one. I too think that we will see in Lola and Ronnie what we would have seen with Danielle. Ronnie would have been a grandmother now too so hopefully we will see Ronnie with Lola and Lexi just like we would have seen her with Danielle and her baby. In regards to Kat and Alfie, all I hope is that Ronnie doesn't tell Roxy about witnessing Kat and Alfie being close in the cafe as I want Roxy to find out for herself, perhaps with some help from Ronnie. I agree with Desi. If it wasn't for the baby swap, I really wanted Ronnie and Kat to be close together. They have a lot in common but also Kat and Ronnie are both great characters played by two talented actresses. |

Haven't heard the interview yet but sound like she is taking a break and then returning. She gets a week with Dyer so does that mean shes finished filming as I think Dyer started work a while ago? Does that mean Sam is not doing 6 months now but is returning on a permanent basis later in the year? Also darker side? Drugs? or maybe shes dying her hair black and become a goth LOL! |

I haven't seen teh itnerview yet either. She will probably take a couple of months off and come back full term which will give DTC enough time to build up a storyline for Ron. Darker side could also be something related to the time she was in prison, although I would rather not much is linked to anything that will remotely bring baby swap back to the forefront. Maybe Roxy's drugs? I can't wait to see what next though. |

Ok I have heard the interview. Hiding behind my desk at work with my earphones listening to it. ![]() Great news. It looks like she will definitely be back: ![]() ![]() They ask her about working with Danny Dyer and she says: Quote:
I take a break for a few months and when I come back I shall see him in the vic.
![]() Here are some of the things she says: Ronnie and Roxy are so cool together. They have never grown up but they are dark together and quite dangerous when they’re together and we will definitely take a turn to that dark side. Asked about Alfie and Ronnie patching up: She says, Quote:
it is difficult and so far Ronnie has been apologising but she can only apologise for so long. She is a strong female character and there aren’t that many. She is a strong character. She needs to become empowered again because that’s when she is interesting. I don’t think she needs a man to define her.
I am extremely pleased to hear that last bit. ![]() Regarding the future and working with Dom again she says: Quote:
When I came back it was a bit wishy washy and I was treading water a little bit. About Ronnie:Now that Dom is back we need to turn it around. With Dom back is like the old family being back. Quote:
She seems strong outside but she is quite damaged, has been so badly hurt and so badly broken and she starts to get a bit dangerous which I like. Nobody wants to see her cry anymore.
This has made my day.

Sounds promising.
As long as "dark" doesn't mean on of these: 1. She steals Lexi 2. She murders someone Then I will be happy. I hope they keep the vunerable side to Ronnie as well as that adds a real layer to her character but perhaps keeps this side to her for when shes alone. I would love a really dangerous plot for Ronnie (like Roxy on drugs or mixes with some real thugs (not Carl the whisper but PROPER villians!)) |

We will probably see Ronnie's manipulative side aka how she got rid of Damien when she first arrived. BIB Agree entirely. I would really love Ronnie to be involved in such a plot to take on really dangerous and deranged people aka Michael or Archie. |

This interview has really restored my faith - glad there are clear plans ahead for Ronnie as I was growing a tad concerned a week or so back.
Love the sound of Tuesday 29th October spoilers - sounds like that will be the point Ronnie becomes that little bit darker. Incidentally, DTC's first week.

This is from the Michael Moon interview:
What have been your high points? "Playing with the best people like Jessie [Wallace], Jasmyn [Banks] and Charlie [Brooks] - they're so good that it didn't feel like going into work. I love Sam [Womack] too, she is brilliant fun. I have had such a great time with her and Rita [Simons]. Michael doesn't seem to play much with many men. Pretty much all of them found him odious." |

Agreed - time for progression.
As much as I understand those wanting fun, light storylines for Ronnie, I find she works best as a darker character. That's why the contrast between Ronnie and Roxy worked so well when they first arrived. Very, very enthusiastic now.

I've found it so hard to stick with EE. It physically pains me to watch it.
Looking from the posts above, things will be looking up soon - thank goodness. |

If Danny Dyer appears during Christmas and Sam is only filming one week with him (not literally), that could mean she leaves during Christmas/New Year week. That's not too far away.
![]() I hope they make the most of her! I know she'll be coming back but I want her to really make her mark again during this stint. |

I am struggling too. Didn't watch Monday or Tuesday. I tried to watch it last night but it doesn’t hold my interest at all.

The Hartmans  Sharon and her precious Denny :yawn: Such a shame, the first week of Ronnie's return was so promising. She really lit up the screen. |
