Really liked Kat and Ronnie last night. Sam and Jessie work really well. Such a shame about the baby swap tripe. But hopefully we are past that now with Roxy's wedding fast approaching.

Also confirmation today that Sam has extended her contract.
Fantastic news!!!!
I can't wait to see what DTC has planned for Ron.

That means I'll be watching EE for the next twelve months then.

Loved Ronnie's last scene tonight. As Sam said herself, things have been a little wishy washy with Ronnie lately but she's back now! Loved that icy line.

Agreed agreed agreed.

And I kinda had a feeling Mrs Womack would extend her contract. 6 months isn't "that long" in terms of bedding in, espesh with changeovers.

Very happy over here.

I liked Veronica standing up for Roxanne last night (apparently according to some, she is a psychopath now for doing that).

It was so good to see Ronnie, Roxy and Phil upstairs in the Vic. It feels so right.

BIB Yeah me too. Especially, as soon as DTC was announced I had no doubts Sam will extend her contract, but it is good to have the confirmation.

I am wondering whether she will have a break in between or whether the new contract starts from February, straight after the initial 6 months are up.

On a side note I am hoping Ronnie will get the R&R back.

So Ronnie low down in the credits on Mondays episode so probably one scene of her watching Alfie and Roxy. And then shes not in the rest of the week. Does Sam only work part time now and only seems to work the early episodes of the week lol!

Is this what Sam meant by wishy washy because Ronnie isn't even in it much! - Compare her episode count to David Wicks and its quite shocking. Hes been in more episodes already and Ronnie arrived 3 weeks before him!!

It makes you wonder why they brought her back for what was going to be 6 months only and hardly ever use her. I can see what Sam meant when she said that she has been treading water for a while and that Ronnie's return has been wishy washy.
Thankfully DTC is here now to use his creation again.

Eastenders: Week 48 (25th - 29th November) *Spoilers*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday 25 November

It’s Roxy and Alfie’s wedding day, but in light of recent events, Alfie has the biggest decision of his life to make.

Kat is put in a difficult position when Roxy apologises for the past and suggests a truce, but how will Kat react?

It's crunch time for Ronnie as Roxy gives her an ultimatum about coming to the wedding.

Tuesday 26 November
Roxy is over the moon that she will soon be married to Alfie – but will everything go ahead as planned?

Thursday 28 November

After the events of yesterday, a huge argument breaks out between the involved parties, causing havoc in Albert Square.

Thursday the 28th seems to be the day when all hell breaks loose.

Alfie gets a right hook from Ronnie hopefully.

I think Roxy bans Ronnie from the wedding meaning she has to watch from behind a tree like Danielle's funeral

Sam's interview with IS:

"Ronnie is going to get dangerous"

There is high drama ahead for the troubled Mitchell ...

The tortured Ronnie Mitchell is heading for a perilous future as she begins going over to the dark side.
EE star S Womack revealed at the IS Awards that she will be staying with the show when her current six-month contract runs out. And Ronnie's story is then set to take a new turn as she goes off the rails - which could spell disaster for her and her loved ones.

"Ronnie's had so much pain!" Says the actress. "She wants to control her family and protect them, especially Roxy, but whether that's the sane thing for her to do, I just don't know.

"It's about time we made the audience feel uncomfortable about Ronnie," continues Sam. "I want people saying, 'No, Ronnie, don't do that!'. Ronnie has been a bit insipid since she came back, but in the past few weeks , I have got my teeth back into the character a bit. Nobody knows what Ronnie has become with everything she's been through. She's all over the place - she's going to get dangerous."
And although Sam says Ronnie will be steering clear of love, she did reveal her alter ego may be looking to fill the hole in her life left by the death of her daughter, Danielle Jones ....

"Lola must remind Ronnie of Danielle, because their ages are similar, and she looks a bit like her," she says. "There'll be some cool stuff with me and her coming up - I love working with Danielle Harold (Lola)."
According to Sam new EP, DTC has some big plans for Ronnie, and that's given the actress a massive boost as she looks to her future In the soap.
I've started to feel Ronnie's energy and power coming back now Dom's in charge," she enthuses.
"I believe he's the best man for the job. He wants to make it dark and gritty - which is what EE should be."
I love the bit about Lola and also Sam saying that she has started to feel Ronnie's energy again. It has been such a long time since Ronnie had some life and energy left in her so it is good to see some of it back

According to monalisa the guest visitor at Roxy's wedding is Aunt Sal. I wonder whether she will say anything to Ronnie about the baby swap, or James dying.

I look forward to seeing Aunt Sal back.

yeah be good to have aunt sal back.

Didn't see the point of Ronnie last night. For me Ronnie would normally not say anything if she can't say anything good, I thought that was out of character. Is this the start of the dark path?

Sam sees excited about the "big" plans. The cynic in me though has read the words "big plans" for quite a few characters recently and not all of them can be big lol!

Yeah I thought it was out of character. This is still LN’s work though so hopefully this is not the new dark Ronnie that DTC has in mind.
That is why I think Sam said that Ronnie has been a bit insipid since she returned.
I must admit that I am a bit worried when Sam says, “Nobody knows what Ronnie has become with everything she's been through. She's all over the place - she's going to get dangerous."

Ronnie was nearly ruined with the baby swap so hopefully dark and dangerous doesn’t mean hurting other people. In fact if it wasn’t for the character’s popularity pre baby swap that storyline would have ruined any other character that didn’t have the same fan base, completely beyond repair.

I can’t think of what dangerous and dark can be.
Maybe she will finally have some sort of breakdown done properly that doesn’t involve baby swaps and other idiocy like that. Maybe dangerous to herself. I have no idea but I am a bit a bit worried.

3 December 2013
Things get rowdy in The Vic when Roxy gets drunk and loses control.

5 December 2013
Ronnie drops a bombshell that means big changes are afoot in Walford.

6 December 2013
Alfie is still shocked by Ronnie’s revelation and refuses to give up without a fight, but has Alfie made his biggest ever mistake?
I wonder what the bombshell is I think its safe to say Alfie and Kat are back together + Roxy is possibly pregnant

Sounds exciting! I wonder if it's about The Vic? "Get out of our pub, Alfie!"

Really excited about this upcoming material. I'm glad Rita will be getting some decent material too as she deserves it.

Team Mitchells on this one!

Its amazing how the return of Ronnie has also managed to boost Roxys storylines.
She really seems to be very uninteresting without her bigger sis.
Ronnie is a character that can stand on her own and also enhance others aswell.

Hopefully Ronnie giving Alfie the marching orders.
I will so enjoy it. I don’t care whether some people call her psychopath for being “hard” on Alfie. That is the Ronnie I want to see, strong and doing anything it takes for her family.
I would understand it if Ronnie had harmed Tommy, but Tommy is well, back with his parents and like Kat said, too young to remember anything.

As far as I am concerned Ronnie has paid her price and has been punished more than enough, 3 dead babies, lost her business, lost the man she loved and went to prison and served her time. Unfortunately she can’t turn back time. She has apologised to Aflie numerous times but she can not go on being a wet blanket and letting him take advantage of Roxy.

Alfie and Roxy's non wedding can't come soon enough so that Ronnie too can move on and have storylines with Roxy that don't involve Kat and Alfie.

No Rnnie this week
2 episodes the following week.

That means up to 22nd November, Ronnie wuld have only appeared in just 3 episodes in November.

I bet if Newman was still in charge Sam wouldn't have bothered staying because shes not even in the show!

That is so little considering that this was originally only a six months contract.
Lol maybe Sam knew that changes were coming at the top, therefore signed up in the hope that she would get more material after the six month. Otherwise I don’t see why she would come back for merely one month worth of episodes, if that, with little or no storyline at all.
Or I suppose she may have wanted to be there for Scott/Jack’s exit and agreed to come for him. But beyond that she has hardly had anything to do.
When you compare it with David’s return and how much he has appeared, you can tell how lukewarm Ronnie’s return has been.

The pics for Roxy's hen night episode.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...-pictures.html

The pictures of Ronnie and Roxy dancing remind me so much of “The Square under new management” trailer before R&R's arrival.

They look really good together.

I haven't watched EE for a couple of weeks due to holiday and other things.
Looks like I really haven't missed much

I'm excited to see Aunt Sal back. I really wish she was a regular character. She'd fill in a bit of the gap Aunty Peg left behind.
