The pics for Roxy's hen night episode.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...-pictures.html

The pictures of Ronnie and Roxy dancing remind me so much of “The Square under new management” trailer before R&R's arrival.

They look really good together.
Thanks Lili. Third picture down... my heart danced happiness.

I haven't watched EE for a couple of weeks due to holiday and other things.
Looks like I really haven't missed much

I'm excited to see Aunt Sal back. I really wish she was a regular character. She'd fill in a bit of the gap Aunty Peg left behind.
yeah she can get to know the 'two bits of peroxide that they had nothing to do with until 6 years ago' more

You probably did but it was a blink and you miss her scene anyway.
I am glad L.N brought her back in the light of DTC taking over and keeping Ronnie, but otherwise I don't know why she bothered to bring her back if she has hardly used her.

Thanks. I wanted to see last nights episode because Ronnie was back for the first time since the 1st of November and I saw the first couple of scenes but nodded off then I woke up and saw Alfie and Kat at the funeral and after a few scenes the show ended. Sounds like I didn't miss much.

Had this been a Ronnie-centric episode then I wouldn't have fallen asleep of course!

No mention of Ronnie in week 51 spoilers either, or Roxy for that matter. Unless I have missed some spoilers or they are embargoed it doesn’t seem like there is much of an aftermath for Roxy after the non wedding. There is one that she gets drunk I think but nothing substantive.
Maybe there will be some aftermath after Christmas.

yeah I saw that - that means no aftermath at all. I think Ronnie will be gone by the new year at this rate. Looks like Danny Dyer starts on 20th Dec and Sam said she had about a week with him.

I don't get why they brought her back. It seemed unplanned. Then Newman thought lets get Ronnie back and shoehorned in her scenes - we can get a good week out of her then she can bed Jack, he leaves and she can fade into the background.

She may as well have only come back for that one weel in September. Shes been in about 3 scenes in November so far.

Apart from that first week, I have found her return to be a dissapointment to be honest, not Sam's fault because shes barely been used. Even when she does turn up in episodes its like 2 minutes and then not seen for another 20 days.

This could easily have been Ronnie's last episodes and she deserves better than this. Shes back more next week but only as a support character and then fades away again in December!

"Ta-da! Yep, we don't want gate-crashers do we?"
Boy, I am thrilled I didn't miss that show stopping line.

Very surprised at Kat & Alfie going to James' grave to say hello. I don't even think Ronnie has been?

And Janine at Michael's graveside really reminded me of Ronnie at Danielle's. I was ready for Janine to start singing.

Yes it would have been nice for Ronnie to have had a scene at James' grave. It could have been just before Jack left. We have never had a proper scene with Ronnie at the grave.
Never mind the mother, no let's have Alfie go to James' grave instead.

YES! They really really should have had Ronnie & Jack at his grave. Together as the parents they were. Jack cleared off without saying goodbye to him. What the heck?

Well done Roxanne. Still the same spoilt brat you've always been. Stick the knife into your sister like you're good at.

Oh dear Ronnie speaking the truth didn't go down well with Roxanne
So glad that Roxy won't be tied to Alfie after next week. Can't stand him.
I hope we will see a bit more of aunt Sal on Monday.

I forgot to write anything after the last episode but I thought is was a better episode for Ronnie. At least she has the guts to tell teh truth whether people like it or not.

Loved Aunt Sal's opinion of Alfiie. Shame shes not a regular. She works with Ronnie and Roxy.

I said Ronnie would get banned from teh wedding, she always gets banned from wedding and funerals its becoming her thing!

Shirley and Ronnie interacting more now.

I expected to see Ronnie walk to James grave. She looked like she was looking for a grave and the scene cut away.

I liked the scene in the Vic between R&R. Its a pretty sad existance for Ronnie if thats her only job in life lol but Roxy is such a kid always making stuipd mistakes.

Are we expected to be on Kat and Alfie's side? I don't feel anything for them at all. I'm glad there was no Julias Theme because it was romantic or heart breaking as they tried to make out. Ashdown's script was appalling and unrealitsic. Alfie would have been treated like a terrorist if he did that at an airport!

I bet travellers today at Southend airport are feeling safe!!

I felt more for Roxy than those two idiots. The problem with Ronnie's darker side is she may come across as smug with Kat and Alfie. Ronnie would surely just move on with Roxy and not think of revenge.

Sometimes I feel Ronnie is just a glorified extra. For me shes just not quite the same presence within the cast like shes in the shadows. She should be in the limelight more.

I too thought we were going to get a scene of Ronnie walking to James’ grave. That was genuinely what it seemed like. I wish we had but I suppose that had all the carry on c*ap, to fit in Alfie and Kat’s supposedly heart warming reunion.

I agree that Ronnie feels more like a glorified extra and I really hope they will use her more. I also wish that she won’t have many scenes with Kat and Alfie. The more scenes she has with Kat and Alfie the more the baby swap is kept alive and at the detriment of moving the character on and reintegrating her.

I was glad she did tell Aflie where Kat had gone and that she attempted to say to him that perhaps she had been wrong. Not that she ever was, but it is easy to see her as smug in whatever scene she has with Alfie even when it has nothing to do with the baby swap.
I felt sad for her when she said to Roxy that making her happy is her sole purpose in life. That is tragic, not to have anything else to look forward to.
I liked their scene in the end but I am looking forward to this whole thing coming to an end, Sam going on her break and hopefully Ronnie returning with new storylines, breaking free from the baby swap.

I really loved the scenes with Ronnie and Roxy tonight. I feel really sorry for poor Roxy and it is good that she has got great sister that will support her through it all.It is a shame that Roxy doesn't do the same back sometimes.

Basically this.

It saddens me but if this carries on, I'd rather Sam leave sooner than stay. Have only watched one ep this week, where Ronnie pathetically attempted to stop Roxy going over the Vic in her hand. IMO there was no need for her to be there, her presence wasn't felt.
The only moment I liked was when she said "I love you" to Roxy.

I'm really disappointed in her return. Had such massive hopes for the character. Of course there'd be a lull, but didn't expect it so quick.
Sam boosted EE's ratings, I know the crew work their asses off, but a few rewrites here and there or even little tweaks would make it somewhat better than this.

It must be hard for Roxy-that feeling that she's unattractive and no man wants her so that why she understandably lashed out at her sister who was clearly only protecting her. I can't stand that muppet, Alfie!

Alfie is a clown, tolerating Kat's affairs and he's an insensitive user just like her

Do we think its all to do with Carl that makes her leave?

The sooner DTCs episodes start airing the better, the show is in a sad state of affairs with the lack of a good Ronnie story and her being in the forefront.

There was a rumour that Ronnie is attacked by Carl and she kills him but the thread was pulled (I think it was a fake story anyway) But it made me think that if the storyline was true it would make a different kind of baby story for Ronnie.

The only evidence that Carl attacked Ronnie would be the baby inside her and she has to live with bringing up Carl's kid.

But then that wiould be Stacey all over again and if there would be no payout in the story ubnless Carl was alive and could return at a later date (similar to Kathy/Willmot Brown).

I certainly hope the rumour is false as Ronnie would be a killer!

Loved the Mitchells last night. And finally DTC’s work is about to start.

I didn’t see the thread about Ronnie and Carl, but I hope that thread is just a rumour. I am sure DTC wouldn't want to turn Ronnie into a killer. The baby swap was disastrous enough. I don't mind she sending Carl packing like she did with Damien though.
Can’t wait to see the strong Ronnie.

The only thing I hope they will fix, is showing Ronnie’s vulnerable side again. It is ok for her to be strong but not to the point of making her look extremely controlling with Roxy.

I wonder where those scenes with Lola are. They haven’t had much to do. I haven’t looked at any spoilers but I doubt they have anything coming up until Ronnie’s exit.
