oh dear...looks like Ronnie might just kill Carl after all. I really hope there is one last twist to the story. |

I'm not sure what to make of this really. I'm really excited that Ronnie has some brilliant material ahead and have no doubt that Sam will deliver but I worry that this storyline could loom over her character even more so than the baby swap has. Perhaps it'll be similar to other soaps where the secret is hidden (until the actor/actress decides to leave). I am pleased that it looks to be a memorable storyline though - adds to the legend of Ronnie.
I loved Ronnie's scenes in Tuesday's episode - comforting Roxy and confronting Kat and Alfie. "No one hurts my sister like that. No one."

This would be a twist, Like taking the ultimate price to save Roxy. It would be better then to have her kill someone. Then Carl can come back in the future if Ronnie needs a storyline in 2015/16 |

I am excited and anxious in the same measure. I am glad her scenes don't involve Kat and Alfie for a change and also getting Carl to leave is doing everyone a favour. But I don' want her to cause his death. Murder shelves a character's life forever. I really hope there is a twist.

TV Choice I think it is has a small picture of Carl with his hands around Ronnie's neck. Should be some good scenes. I hope Daniel and Sam really go for it and its exciting!

Thanks for the spoilers
![]() Finally we will see Ronnie at James' grave. About time someone remembered that Ronnie lost her child on New Year's Eve. We have seen endless scenes of Kat and Alfie either visiting or mentioning James and nothing from the real mum. Love Lola and Ronnie. Very excited about the drugs in Roxy's bag. Our wish may come true The_abbott. If they go down the route of Roxy taking drugs, we are in for some superb material from Ronnie. The material with Carl sounds great too and good to see the purple coat back. Very pleased with DTC' s material for Ronnie. I just hope that Ronnie doesn't kill Carl though and everything would be perfect. |

I know she would probably get away with it but I hope there is a better twist than that. Yes the purple coat is back! Since Ronnie cam back all we have heard is "poor Kat and Alfie". Nobody has mentioned that Ronnie's kid died so it would be nice to finally have a balanced view. Newman wanted the audience to clearly be on Kalfie's side but the first thing DTC does is boot them out the Vic ![]() I loved the R&R scenes last night. Ronnie can be funny when shes with Roxy (the 'comedy ronnie' only works when shes alone with Roxy and that is how it shold stay). Her impression of Pat was really good! Have you seen the trailer where Carl grabs Ronnie. It looks good! |

DTC has apparently confirmed that Ronnie will be a real villain. How do you feel about this?
Excited? Worried? I think as long as there is an endgame or a reason for her dong some bad things I wouldn't mind. Like Roxy should also do bad things or prison changed her. I don't want her just to be bad and evil with no reason as it makes no sense. |

I am hoping we won't end up with an 1D character that B.K turned Ronnie into. If DTC plans to turn Ronnie into a real villain it will all be no better than B.K just replace; tragic Ronnie now turned into real villain Ronnie. That would be terrible imo. |

So Ronnie will become Darth Vader.
I guess she will either lose Roxy or control Roxy to the point Roxy is a prisoner. Will the process be gradual. Those familiar with the Star Wars films will have seen the gradual change of Anakin into Darth Vader. He lost everything he loves....but I can't see Roxy dying. or Ronnie dons a helmet and lightsaber and kills Kim, Fatboy, Tamwar etc... |

Not familiar with Star Wars or Darth Vader at all.
I am really pleased that there is a lot coming up for Ron. I don't necessary mind her turning dangerous and dark for some time as long as it doesn't result in something like murder or heinous crime and as long as there is some sort of redemption, breakdown, and vulnerability in the end to put it all in context. If they are comparing her with Archie it will probably be control related; i.e. Ronnie wanting to control Roxy like Archie wanted to control her. But I don’t want her to commit any crimes, not something that can not be put right. Don’t know what to think tbh. |

I think it's great that DTC has got a plan for Sam, to start with I was a little concerned about Ronnie becoming villainous but thinking about it, she'll be fitting in with the new dynamics that DTC has. Ronnie was just hanging about like a spare part after she came back which was horrible, at least now we know that she will be pushed to the forefront of the show (which is great because she's an amazing character)
Anyways, here's to hoping it's successful! *crosses fingers*

Honestly I've given up on Ronnie - still think she's great character and Sam is an amazing actress, I feel that DTC doesn't see a way to get her back how she was before the baby swap and is going completely out in making her a villain.
I would be very surprised if Sam doesn't leave in 2015 (if she has signed a year contract for 2014) |

Don't give up yet!
It maybe just a story arc. Maybe Roxy wants nothing to do with Ronnie if she kills Carl. This would mean Ronnie has nothing to live for and changes her ways. I certainly don't want her to abuse Roxy that would be too much. That's the last we see of Ronnie now until Christmas day. She's only in 5 more episodes....she's not even in the Boxing Day episode! |

I think it will be a story arc of how one can become a villain, how one can cross a line but there will most likely be redemption at the end of it. I would be very surprised if it wasn't. I think it will be very dark though, something that would have definitely been a total disaster under the type of writing during B.K or L.N's tenure. Hopefully DTC will make sure that the writing is tight and things are explained and given context.
I admit that I am really worried and don't want to see Ronnie turned into a proper villain. But still interested to see how it will all be handled. I also agree with nickymonger's post from another thread. What we are missing from Ronnie this time round are the little talks with people like Dot, where the viewer gets to see what is going on behind the ice queen persona. Hopefully we will see some of it soon in those scenes with Lola when she talks about James. And I hope after Sam's break, when Ronnie returns we will see that side of the character too. I am also having a problem with the styling. The clothes are ok, it is mainly the hair I am not sure about. Hopefully they will do something with it , maybe a fringe or some layers. |

You need to be able to explain to the audience what a charatcers is thinking escpecially when its a character like Ronnie. Charadters like Alfie, Fatboy, Roxy etc.. are see is what you get. When you have Ronnie being the ice maiden you only have her facial expression to go on. You therefore need someone for her to talk to and if she "turns villian" then is there anyone she will turn to to talk about this with? I cannot think of anyone. Not even Dot because if shes a villian she won't want to talk to anyone. "Dot....why am I a villian?" sniffle sniffle "ooooh Rrrrronnie. Your not a villian. Jesus decides who is good and evil. You have a good heart" "I have nothing to live for now that Roxy has disowned me" "The lord works in mysterious ways. Look at my Nick..." You can use that DTC

It is like doctor Who lol. You need the companion to ask the questions that the audience would ask and for the doctor to explain things.
Ice queen Ronnie definitely needs someone to talk to for the audience to understand her. |

Ice queen Ronnie definitely needs someone to talk to for the audience to understand her. The fact she did practically nothing for 2 years whilst Ronnie was away proves that. I read an interview with Rita and she said that "for the first time in years....and I mean years, Sam and I cannot wait to read the scripts since Dom came back". Begs the question why none of the cast piped up and told the producers the sripts were crap. |

Hasn't Sam finished filming for now though? So what scripts is Rita referring too, the ones so far I suppose. Not that Sam has had much to do until now so she hasn't necessary had that many scripts to read.
I don’t think the actors were brave enough to say anything about not liking the scripts or the storylines they were given, as they wouldn’t want to lose their jobs. Some are more brave than others, aka Sam and quitted over the storylines, but some know that they won’t be able to do much if they leave EE, so would rather stay and do nothing in order to get their paycheque. |
