It seems she leaves that same episode!!

Phil finds out she has a gun and she leaves to sort her life out (whatever that means). At least it will explain her absence unlike the last 6 weeks.

I take it that she sells the gym then.

This will mean Roxy will foolishly get with Aleks not knowing his secret and then she finds out and Ronnie returns to sort him out.

I suppose giving some explanation for her exit at least will explain her absence this time around. She has hardly been in EE for a long time now, especially for the past 3 months, so in that respect we are used to her absence.

I have hardly watched either. I have tried but I can't be bothered. I think after Ronnie left first time the rot set too much in and no matter how much EE try it just isn't as good anymore.

I think Sam will be there for a year we just don't know when that takes her too but they need to sort out a direction with her - if its evil then OK I don't agree but just do it. If its not that storyline then get her back down the hard business route.

I get that Roxy and Amy are her life and that they don't want to give Ronnie a man but there are plenty of other storylines or ways to get her involved.

Maybe when Roxy finds out about Aleks she wil start taking drugs.....(yes that old chestnut again but they never seem to go there with Roxy!) Ronnie then returns to save the day (but not kill Aleks - go down the legal route to ditch him instead!)

I agree. They have to make up their mind about the direction they want to take Ronnie. I don't like the villainous route either but if that is what they want to do they should just stick with it.
I would like to see the Charlie Cotton storyline myself with Ronnie being the one to discover his scheme and help Dot rather than a Darth Vader transformation.

At least Ronnie still has that sixth sense and can spot a wrong one. She always susses people out.

I'm not actually annoyed either. I wanna know if she's gone for good though. If she has, I'm glad it was a good, happy exit.

Ronnie is back in late summer.

Speculation is she comes back for Stacey.

It seems to me there is some retooling going on with Ronnie. I think they realised that Ronnie just doesn't work as a baddie because she could kill Shirley and Sharon in tonights episode and still be the one the audience support. I think thats why she is getting a baby so the audience continue to root for her character. Its what works best for her character.

Plus it keeps her close with Dot if its Charlie Cotton's kid.

Yeah, I can't really work out which direction they are taking Ronnie in. The March to June 2014 stint has been the craziest so far.

I did quite like how they brought Ronnie's return storyline full circle in some ways by having Alfie drive Ronnie to the station. Alfie absolutely hated Ronnie back when she returned last year so it was great to see a little tender moment between them.

A lot of love for Ronnie across FB and Twitter which is great! Truly one of a kind, that character.

If her return is to help Stacey then it could be really good. He telling the court about Archie at the same time as her new chance for a new life.

I am so glad it has been confirmed that she is returning and at the end of the summer which really is not that long a wait. She has had longer absences I the last 6 months or so without them being justified on screen at all. I hope they have abandoned the villain route and the fact that they had her leave to sort herself out gives me hope that they have. She is better as a flawed character, amoral but good than a downright evil one.

Dot and Ronnie will be related now. That really makes me happy.

I sometimes don't trust DTC's ideas so I am wondering that there will be a Whos the Daddy twist. Really hope its not Aleks or that bloke who was married to Kym Marsh in real life but can't remember his name!!

Someone on the web predicted she was seeing Jack behind everyones back. I hope not thats a closed chapter in her life

I bet she turns up the day Kat gives birth just so they can rehash some scenes from the babyswap and have Kat scared that Ronnie will take her babies.

I have to admit I can't rememnber the last time I watched EE. It must have been Ronnie's last episode (although I did see the end of the episode Marcus Christie showed up again).
