I am a bit confused where is Charlie living now. It seems like he is staying at Dot's. It says in the article of Charlie bonding with the baby that Charlie takes the baby home.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...s-his-son.html

I thought Charlie moved in with Ronnie and they will stay at Ronnie and Roxy's, as Ronnie was getting the room ready for the baby there ages ago.
Is Ronnie meant to join him at Dot's when she comes back?
I can't see that happening even with Nick out of the picture.
Imagine Dot and Ronnie coming to an agreement about the decor of the house lol.

I see Frozen got mentioned earlier in the thread. Never seen it but I know its about 2 sisters.

Ronnie was like another Disney character last night - Sleeping Beauty

I wonder if she wakes up for the live episodes because she won't have been around to film any episodes prior to it (or after), I wonder if they have filmed some stock scenes of Ronnie lying in bed they will insert intro episodes. Otherwise your just hear that people have visited Ronnie but not see her.

Not sure what to make of Nick stealing the baby. I think he is only going to take it to Charlie.

I hope Ronnie does not have amnesia or brain damage. I want to see Nick thinking he's got away with everything with Phil locked up and all his family around him. Then cut to a scene in hospital Ronnie opens her eyes. Duff Duff

Then Ronnie rips off the tubes gets up jumps on a motor bike and runs Nick over

Ha, ha yes Ronnie is channelling some of the most famous Disney princesses lol.
Frozen resemblance was mentioned a lot on twitter too. Even Jo Joyner made a comment about it.

I too think she will only wake up near the anniversary episode. We might see scenes of people mentioning Ronnie but not her. She may have filmed a few block scenes in a coma in hospital and they will probably use them until the anniversary.

I don't think there will be that much more material between now and the anniversary that would require scenes with Ronnie.
The drama with the Cottons and Mitchells on the square doesn't require her presence. But also I am sure that as off middle of next week we will have the Carters, Kat's storyline, Shabnam's secret and build up to Lucy dominate EE.
Most likely after tonight Phil and Ronnie won't be seen again until the anniversary, or a couple of episodes leading up to it.

I think the plan was to move all in with Ronnie and Roxy but I guess without Ronnie that is a bit awkward when Ronnie was the 'link' to Roxy so Charlie has gone back to his home instead.

I am liking Aleks a bit more now. I wonder if Ronnie will like him more now that he helped save her.

I hope Charlie doesn't become to soppy. I think he needs to keep that edge he had about him otherwise he'll just become another Jack the sperm donor again.

It's so frustrating waiting for Ronnie to wake up and meet her longed for baby. I hope it will be worth the wait and we will see her be a fulfilled mum. I hope it's not one, blink and you miss it episode for when Ronnie reunites with Mathew.

I like Roxy with Alex and Ronnie with Charlie. Both couples have chemistry. I hope we will see some long term relationships with both.

If anyone is interested to vote for favourite character on the forums best character poll, Ronnie is in this round

I have really enjoyed the past few weeks. I see the Carters get dedicated episodes to them again next week so I will probably switch back off! - that's why I hope Ronnie doesn't just get a quick scene where she wakes up and meets 'Mathew' but in the Xmas episode - the Beale scenes and the Cotton scenes were blink and you'll miss them and edited very badly to fit the Carter storyline and I hated that. The other characters deserve better and everyone has benefitted without Mick and Linda being on screen.

As for Ronnie, is DTC ready to give her a happy ending just yet? I was thinking what if because Ronnie has been in a coma for a while, what if she wakes up and can't cope with bringing up a child because she needs help getting around herself? Perhaps in a wheelchair or has some brain damage? Ronnie may resent the fact she is still alive because she can't be a proper mum to 'Mathew'. This creates more drama and stops Ronnie from getting a happy ending...until she gets better later on of course.

I am slightly disappointed that we seem to have seen the last of this big battle between Ronnie and Nick. It seems Dot will kill Nick. I expected more but then Ronnie was off screen for so much in December it was ridiculous.

Yeah I have enjoyed these past two weeks where the other families have had well deserved screen time. It feels more like EE. Not looking forward to the upcoming week with one family dominance back again.

I know what you mean about Ronnie/Nick being really brief. Ronnie was hardly in EE so it would have been nice to have had some more scenes. However I don't mind not seeing anymore of Ronnie with Nick as I was really worried they would make Ronnie kill him. I just don't want to see anything like that for Ronnie. Let her now start her drama with the baby and being a mum which no doubt is what's coming next for her.
I can't imagine what she would be like with Mathew not only given the history of her children dying but also missing the first month of her baby's life and coming close to losing him. She won't let him out of her sight.

Look forward to it and I like the fact that she won't be alone as according to Declan, Charlie will be by her side. I like Charlie more and more with each episode.

No worries.
For some reason I seem to recall reading somewhere that Rita and Sam will be on the 29th of January.
Hopefully someone will find out and lets us know near the time. DTC himself might post it on twitter.

On another note, this thread seems a bit neglected recently.

I know. I think some of Ronnie's fans are having a deep sleep with her!

I'll have to check out 29th Jan then. I don't want to miss it.

I know it was a nice surprise. She has been really busy since she left EE after the diabolical baby swap.
Alongside EE In 2014 she's done:
Mount Pleasant
One night in Istanbul
Kingsman

Here is a little interview with Sam on the Red Carpet re her role in Kingsman with Colin Firth.

I really enjoyed that. It left me wanting more. I am glad they didn't include the Carl plot.
Sam and Rita get on so well and their chemistry transpires on screen too. They are really believable as sisters.

Ronnie spoilers. As I posted on that thread I just want her awake now.
Give Sam something to do now. I am not sure which way they will go with her after she wakes up from the coma but it will be fantastic in a heartbreaking kind of way to see her with the baby if she struggles to bond, or has difficulty remembering things etc.

I have read that some people whilst in a medically induced coma have dreams and/or nightmares (some as a side effect of the medication) and when they wake up it is really difficult for some to separate real memories from dreams/nightmares.
I can't wait to see what is next for Ron.

Hahahahaha, how cringy was that? Sorry XD. Anway, I'm Natalie and I have been a ghost on this thread and the Ronnie and Jack thread for years...and I've only joined this one now...took me that long.

I have only started watching EastEnders again this year when my friend told me that Ronnie had died and come back to life!!! So I have to watch it now because I have had to know if my favourite character was alive.

I've only properly watched the baby swap storyline this year, I tried when it originally came out but I felt like Kirkwood had just ruined my favourite character. Made her so tragic, to the point that everything about her seems damaged.

...

I think that we deserve more than the 19 minutes that we got with them, possibly an hour will do it.

Definitely it should have been an hr.
Glad you decided to join the forum.
As you have been a lurker in the past you have probably noticed that it used to be very active but has gone quiet recently.

I read the spoiler that seems to suggest that
Spoiler
Roxy and Charlie might kiss

I hope it is not true but I find it totally unrealistic and unnecessary.

Thank you xx. Yeah I know, would have joined ages ago but I stopped watching EastEnders, so I didn't bother. But we can change that hopefully.

I KNOW I SAW THAT. I really don't want history to repeat itself again.

I know <cough <Jack>cough>. Stupid idea IMO, pointless, unbelievable and unnecessary but there you go.
Anyway, only two weeks to go until Ron wakes up as I imagine she will wake up the day of the live episode, if not before.

Do you know what's sad though? Even after the whole sleeping with Roxy saga and then sleeping with Sam, I still rooted for Ronnie and Jack with so much passion. Even when I found out Jack had left, I still had some weird hope that they would end up together.

But Ronnie and Charlie are so sweet and a breath of fresh air - I don't think that Roxy would be that stupid to do something like that...again.

TWO WEEKS??!? Man this is going to be the death of me. I want her to hurry up.

I have a feeling that either Ronnie doesn't remember anything before the baby swap - which will piss me off so much because I think that it's unnecessary.

Or, she'll have some sort of brain damage that would enable her to complete everyday tasks, and forcing her to lose her control, which would be a deep blow because she loves to always be in control. And maybe she can't bond with the baby and develops some sort of post traumatic depression.
Natalie360

I actually wanted Ronnie to go through a post traumatic depression storyline when she had James and struggle to bond with him, which have been so sad, considering the fact that she was finally getting her happy ending. So when I rewatch the beginning of the baby swap, I just pretend that she's has PTD. XD
