I know. Really unnecessary and repetitive. I don't see what this can add to the plot. There is enough drama going on.
Not good for Roxy's character either. They are keeping her in this rut of one step forward two steps backwards.

I'm struggling to keep up with EE - I've missed lots of eps but reading your posts it seems like I haven't missed much.

Can't believe Ronnie is still on bed rest. She's going to be absolutely gutted when she comes round (if she does!) and finds out she's missed out on over 2 months of her baby's life. I really wish EE worked a better story than this.

It is quite sad actually, she finally gets the baby that she wanted but doesn't even get to see him grow in the early stages of his life.

Do you think that they're going to handicap her, seeing as she's been in a coma for way too long, and they keep on placing emphasis on possible Brain Damage?

Maybe they are holding something back but it looks like sleeping Ronnie will continue for a while yet.

For goodness sake, they are really dragging this out. I don't remember Jack's shooting storyline being this long. If they are continuously mentioning brain damage, we're going to see Ronnie forgetting maybe the past few months, maybe years.

And also, today's episode - Roxy and Charlie are totally going to kiss...they teased it clearly. And it makes me so sad and slightly frustrated.

Roxy and Charlie are wrong on every level. This is the last thing they need. Why can't Ronnie and Roxy have a storyline that doesn't involve Roxy reversing back for the 1000nd time.

I agree. Ronnie needs to wake up now. Too many scenes of Roxy and Charlie waiting for her to wake up and it not happening. It is dragging too much.

unfortunately I saw this coming. Its so lazy that they would recycle the storyline. No greatest hits DTC? more like Just Greatest Hits DTC. All of his plots are recycled rehashes of previous storylines.

I didn't mind the Ronnie coma as it was different from having her run off to Ibiza for a while but now we will have months of more worry about Roxy and Charlie keeping a secret than having to see Ronnie struggle to bond with Charlie and Matthew (especially if she has got some brain damage).

I presume Ronnie will feature heavily for a while otherwise Sam is pretty much getting paid for nothing.

At the rate DTC is going by repeating every single storyline
1. Shirley/Mick rehash of Kat and Zoe
2. Linda's pregnancy with potentially her rapist again Kat and Harry
3. Stan assisted death resembling Doth and Ethel
4.Who killed Lucy, well Who killed Archie
5. Dean having babies everywhere turning into Jack 2
6.Shabnam's long lost baby has hints of Ronnie's original storyline of the child she gave up, Danielle etc, etc.

I can see a storyline whereby Roxy ends up having Charlie's baby and the truth comes out to both Ronnie and Alex's shock over the Christmas dinner aka Ronnie/Jack/Roxy/Sean.
