Personally i don't think that Sam will return to EE i mean come on she is on 1 of the west ends biggest shows at the moment and i am 90% sure that she will be nominated for at least 1 awards at the Olivers next year and Sam is a very flexible actress and I am sure that people cant wait to work with her.But then saying that she liked the stability of EE and her friends are there and she make sgood money (I read that she was the 4th highest payed on the show).

I don't think she'll be back either. What can they do with Ronnie?
But I'd also hate for Roxy to get a phonecall from Ronnie saying she's been released and is in Ibiza or something. I'd love Sam to do a couple of eps or maybe more just to really tie up the loose ends.

Maybe it is wishful thinking on my part but I don’t think she has ruled out anything. She has said that she liked the job security and she worries about finances. She mentions it in all her interviews. Also she has a young family to support so I think she will never say never. It will be what is most appropriate at the time.

I am not bothered much as long as we continue to see her in other work. EE is not something that I can’t live without. I didn’t watch it that avidly before Sam and certainly don’t miss it now. I do watch the odd episode and I can’t think of one single character that would make me want to tune in and watch the episode on the day. I have even lost interest in people like Max who I used to like. Everything is boring for me.

As someone said in another thread, I don’t even know where the new producer would start when he/she comes. There is so much that needs sorting it will probably take a long time to bring EE back into shape. The writing team is so poor, so many characters have been backed into a corner, so many of them are useless and need to go. And certainly won’t happen until the Moons including Kat and Alfie go.

As for Roxy now being off screen, I would say she is one of the lucky ones because otherwise she would have been ruined like the rest of them.
It is so sad to see what B.K has done to Phil. Probably the most iconic character left on the show turned into a one dimensional bully with no redeeming qualities.

Even if you don't get to see ehr before the show, try to go at the stage door after the show. I know she has a show later that evening so might not go out after the matinee one, but I would have thought she would like to get some fresh air to say the least.
She doesn't need to rehearse now so she has plenty of time to go out after the matinee show and go back on time for the evening one.

He intimidates Patrick next week when Patrick is threatened by Ben

It's all just so ridiculous. I think in 2 years time, KIrkwood would be gone and a new producer may try and lure Peggy and Ronnie and Stacey back.

What are they doing to him?

I would love to see Ronnie and Peggy back.
I hope B.K leaves next year though. If he is in a two years contract he should leave in March 2012. I hope for EE's sake he only has six months left. Another two years of this tribe and EE may as well end up in the graveyard. The show is losing its identity. There are no real families left, the old characters have been ruined, change personalities, the new ones are hardly longevity material.

Eventhough I don't care much about Heather and I thought the Heather centred episodes were awful, I think it is a shame she has been axed. She is a good background character and she can be likable, like her scenes with Ben in the past (I haven't watched her recently so there might have been others). EE needs the recognizable faces. Every long standing drama does. You don't want to tune in one day and not recognize anyone, which is mostly the case now.

There are so many characters that need to go before Heather. B.K should be brave and bold and axe his own creations if they don't work, such as the Moons. Santer did it with Danny Mitchell. And axing Danny Mitchell after a few brief months, just by association with the iconic family was even more of a brave decision than anything to do with the Moons.

I forgot to say, I like the little Sam praise in there, for her acting in the baby swap.
And also Harry saying he liked Ronnie.

I want to see Sam on television again but I do not want her returning to EE. I feel her time there is up and BK ruins too many characters. Looking at the most recent spoilers it has reinforced my opinion. I do not think Sam is coming back anyway. But I would love to see her on television again.

personally as much as i like Ronnie I think that Sam shouldnt go back i mean 4 years on EE and not 1 award At least at South pacific she is getting reconised and hopefully will be up for at least 1 Oliver next year at the awardsAnd i would like Sam to return to TV (but after i have seen SP obviously)The thing is with when she does stage its okay in the build up but then once you have seen the show its like thats it (even tho i havent seen it yet)So i prefer her doing TV as its like you are always thinking about whats gonna happen in the next ep

I think she goes to the stage door after every matinee as she knows that there's normally fans outside waiting to meet her. I would say it's most likely that you'll meet her! Have a fab day!

She has done every performance so far I believe, and sometimes I heard she goes out between shows and sometimes she rests in her dressing rooms I heard. Someone on here posted that a while back.
I think there is a pretty good chance you will see her

If she was to return to EE, she must definitely not do so until B.K leaves. It was very clear that B.K and his team didn't know her character, so it is good she left whilst she remained still endearing even in her exit.

I am 99% convinced that the storyline as they had planned it would have destroyed Ronnie completely and it would have involved her running away with Tommy and be caught as opposed to revealing the truth herself.

For the time being I am still keen to see her return because I would rather see her back in EE than doing things like SP or other musicals.
Ronnie is quite exhausted as a character definitely when it comes to tragedy but not when it comes to her family. I think a return with Glenda will work. And as long as Roxy is in EE there is always a place for Ronnie.

I agree with Chelsea, things like SP are great when the anticipation is building until you see the show, but then there is nothing else left to look forward to as usually the shows would be on tour and it will take ages before Sam is ready and available to move to the next project.

With movies and especially series like EE, or even smaller projects like Liverpool 1, Strange, Game on, you get to see more. You see a character developing and things building up.

But I also don't want Sam to do another comedy series next. I like the dramatic staff more. (Apologies for the repetition as I know I have posted this before).

From the Daily Mail..............

Samantha Womack and Paulo Szot, who are in Bartlett Sher’s excellent production of South Pacific at the Barbican Theatre. The show has been playing to capacity houses and will run at the Barbican till October 1, before embarking on a tour.
There’s now serious talk of bringing it into the West End next spring, which is a splendid idea. I hope co-stars Alex Ferns, Daniel Koek and Loretta Ables Sayre can stay, too.
However, if South Pacific does come into the West End, I don’t think it’s acceptable to ask people to fork out £80 or more to see it performed on a streamlined ‘touring’ set. The producers should allow Sher to restore the musical to the full glory of its Lincoln Centre production in New York.
A show as beautiful as this deserves the full works.

It seems like they are going to bring it into town after the tour because Sam mentioned that in the radio interview too.
Hopefully the tickets won’t be as expensive so that more people can see it.
I doubt Paulo and Loretta Ables Sayre will be able to do these shows at least not all of them.
