Hello

Pleased to announce Sam was there on Saturday, and we met her after! The show was just outstanding, so much better than I expected. I hyperventilated when Sam started to sing I was overally excited ok! Alex who played Trevor in Eastenders was hilarious as well, he surprised me quite a lot! The people sat behind us were nattering away in the interval and we heard the one say 'Its all ex Eastenders' made me and Charl laugh. I really do recommend that everyone goes, even if you have to travel miles, just been in the theatre with Sam on stage makes your life complete. Sams dancing caused a lot of laughter from me and Charlotte, I think the people behind us and next to us thought we were so strange especially with me when Sam walked on stage panicking it wasn't her saying 'fook fook fook fook'. At the end of the show when Sam did her final bow me and Charlotte did our own standing ovation, yes nobody else stood up, so there we were stood up clapping so loudly blocking everyone behind us view and one of the chaps in the crew looked up, noticed us and started laughing at us then did this huge grin up towards where we were sat! We don't really know if Sam saw us!

After the show we literally legged it around the back towards the stage door which we had found earlier, we stood outside for like 2 minutes and these old chaps came past with a signed picture of Sam and they told us they'd handed the photos in earlier for her to sign and for them to collect after, bless them, they were so lovely so we started talking and they were saying that after matinees they don't sometimes come out and as he said it the stage door opened and Alex (trevor from ee) walked out, me and Charlotte looked behind him and noticed a blonde talking facing backwards, we kind of double took and were like no it's not Sam and then she turned around and it was her! So there we were frantically trying to find the pen and our camera (which we couldn't find in time) me dying just stood there, Sam signed the mens things and had photos and I was just stood there with my program saying 'Sam, Sam, Sam' trying to get her to come over to us, she smiled and walked over and I was shaking so much, I thought I was going to drop dead, i gave Sam the pen for her to sign and she signed mine and charlottes programs and I asked for a photo which she oblidged, I walked closer to her and put my hand out saying 'oh god I'm shaking so much' and she squeezed my hand, yes squeezed MY hand, and told me to stop shaking, she then went in for the photo which Charlotte was taking on my phone, she stood there tapping away at my phone panicking because she didn't know what to do and Sam laughed at her, so cute. Charl finally took the photo, I said thankyou to Sam and she said it's ok and looked at Charl and asked If she wanted a photograph, charl who was totally starstruck was like 'yes please' and went in for a photo, I literally grabbed the phone shaking and took the photo immediately as I thought I was going to drop the phone and Sam was like 'you took it already?' I replied 'yeah' and she goes 'you sure?' and I replied yeah again. It was all like aahhhhh at that point and we'd forgotten about the present we had, Alex was stood waiting for Sam so she went to walk off, me remembering the present went 'Sam we have a present for you' and charl passed it over, she thanked us and said bye and off she went! She literally legged it up the road following Alex, you could tell they were in a rush!

That's what happened for anybody who wanted to know, we didn't speak a lot with Sam as she was in a rush but meeting her was enough for me! I'd told myself it wouldn't happen so when it did I wasn't prepared one bit.

I may have missed bits but I'm sure when Charlotte comes on she'll tell you all as well. Oh and when I had had my photo I thought Sam hadn't signed charlottes program so went to give the pen back to Sam and Charl was like no Lou she's already signed mine, I bet Sam thought we were right retards ha!

She looked and sounded fine, she's even more stunning in real life than on tv, which I didn't think was possible! I was surprised at how strong her London accent was, I bet I sounded so common with my brum accent :sleep:

When it was announced Sam was leaving EE. I was, like many others, beyond gutted.
EE did pretty much ruin her character but at least she was there.

Now that Sam has been doing South Pacific, I am truly glad she has left EE because we have pretty much all been able to meet her.
We've all talked about meeting her, what we would say, how amazing it would be and by reading everyone's story of their meet with Sam, it's been everything they have dreamed of and more.
It's been a dream of mine to see Sam in theatre, so to meet her as well to was a real brucie bonus.

When I watched the clip, I honestly felt like I was back in the theatre with Lily and my heart was pounding in the exact same way... gee

It sounded like you had a fantastic time and today hope that i will get to see Sam on the stage - still waiting from Chris Jenkins one of the cast members to get back to me on Twitter.

I don’t know how reliable this is but did anyone see that someone posted in a Roxy related thread that Amy is burned however it comes out at the hospital Amy has old wounds and this makes the doctors question if she has been abused.

This is looking more and more like a custody battle and probably Roxy spiralling and hitting a new low.

How I wish that Ronnie would come back to help her!

Lily, Amy's accident is screen on our birthday

I can only think that Roxy is guilty of neglect, I don't think she would ever abuse Amy, and if she has, it would have been imo "better" (not a good word to use) for us to have seen something rather than have it come out that she has been abusing her.
Ben has a bit of history so he may get the finger pointed at too.

I might watch EE for the next couple of weeks then as this is the week when Jack says that Ronnie is refusing to see him.

Yeah I think it will be neglect only. It is totally unrealistic to do an abuse storyline as there has never been any indication of that. If they went down that route this would be the most unrealistic storyline yet.

I really hope this will be a good storyline for Roxy and really prove her place in the show.
As long as Roxy is in the show than there is always a place for Ronnie so any serious storyline for Roxy is good in my book.

And as the_abbott said not that long ago, maybe a new producer will ask Sam and Glyniss to make a return. They have a big mess to clear when they take over and restoring family units is a big one, as most of them have been destroyed.

Regarding Amy/Jack/Roxy I can however see the posts now of people saying, Jack doesn’t care about his children so they won’t take his reaction to whatever happens to Amy, any custody battle, or anything he says or does seriously.
Not that I blame them lol. The way B.K wrote Jack at the beginning of his tenure was stupid and Richard can’t be undone now which is pretty annoying.

Jack only cared for "James" he has even said so. Crap dad and crap mother poor Amy. Jack loves himself and having lots of unprotected sex. Roxy is immature and tries to be a good parent but is far too silly little girl. No wonder Amy has an accident. Jack will not get full custody if it was realistic unless there is old injuries. Courts simply do not side with fathers in this country. Why they cant both actually try to be parents I have no idea. But EE will not let it get as far as court I am sure.

Another SP Review

Thanks for all the links to these reviews Chelsea. I am glad SP continues to get praise.

I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed though as every time there is a link I hope there is some news about Sam post SP.

Well as you know i went to see SP last night at the MK theatre with my parents.
I was really ecited about going to see it, as i have never seen this musical before and that Sam was going to be in it! Anyway we got to our seats and i didn't think we were going to be as close as we were - we were in the front row - now i was not expecting that at all i was expecting to be further back. We were that close that i could spot Sam very clearly as soon as she appeared on the stage - it was brilliant. Usually what happens when we go the theatre we get seats that have people in front of us, which is really annoying as i am only 4ft 9! Yes i know that is really short - especially for my age!
I thought Sam was amazing as i thought she would be. I am thrilled that she had left EE when she did to do something like this and something that is so far away from Ronnie.
But the unfortunate thing was that i didn't get a chance to meet Sam, as the weather had let us down by raining, if it haven't been raining or being late at night i think i would have met her in person, but that would have been too greedy. i think if Sam got closer to the stage and stretched her arms out i think i could have touched her .

It was a brilliant night and would love ro do it again. Maybe the matinee performance instead. Mum and i were talking aboit it on the way home and saying how brilliant Sam was. Whereas my dad didn't say a word!

I guess Jac will be thinking that Roxy is just like her dad.

Btw The South Pacific Girls are on the Alan Titchmarh Show today on ITV1 at 3pm (I think)
