I agree with this. As much i loved seeing Sam performing on the stage and having a wonderful time doing SP, which is probably why is she has extended her dates for the tour. I mss her being on our TV screens and i hope she will return to it not too far in the future. She will probably want a break after doing SP.

I really don't want Sam to come back to EE. I want her to completely move on and do something else. She can do better than EE.

I think the earliest we would hear is September time. Even if Sam finished with SP around April, May time, she will probably have the summer off before she moves on to something else.
It makes me upset having to wait for such a long time not knowing what she plans to do next, but i doubt we will hear anything earlier than that.

I am so excited, my "Imogen's face" DVD arrived yesterday.

I haven't watched it yet though.

Not much mention of Amy/Roxy in week 45. They are only mentioned on Monday.

The two little kids from my dance school have started rehearsals already for SP in Manchester. They haven't seen the cast yet though. They are at the theatre tomorrow tho and it opens in Manchester on tuesday. Bet they will love working with Sam

I am glad the Milton Keynes show is over now too. The sooner SP is over the better so Sam can move to something else.

Sam is very clever for leaving EastEnders just as it was entering a massive rut. Paves the way brilliantly for her return in a couple of years time once a new exec producer has turned the show around. I predict that she will do a couple more stage shows, a film maybe and something on tv but in the current financial climate, plus with the explosion of reality tv, there can't be that much work around at the moment.

If they are going to bring Ronnie back tho I think she has to have a baby straight away to end this baby drama and more her on to other storylines.

I do not think Sam is going to return, that is not her style. And I would hate to have her return just to have a baby. I would think with the therapy she is having she would want to adjust to her life on the outside that would be the most important thing. I do not want anymore baby storylines that involve Ronnie period. I actually would prefer her to get with a man who was widowed with children and see her become a mum to them. But Ronnie did get out at the right time and I am glad that I do not think Sam is returning.

I want to see Sam do more tv work with a show totally different from EE. Quite a few have gotten their own shows even if it was for a few seasons Letitia Dean, Ross Kemp, Tamzin Outhwaite to name a few got their own shows. I am not talking about RK gang work docs I mean own shows where they played the lead fictional character. This is something I want to see for her.

I don't think she'll return either. I personally would hate Ronnie and the "widowed" man. Mainly because stereotypically widowed men are nice and boring. That just isn't Ronnie. Joel also highlighted that. And I don't understand wanting to change Ronnie into someone she's not. ie. have Ronnie settle down with mr nice and boring. She would get bored. A guy can adore her without being boring and nice. Why not a divorced business man who has kids? The truth is that Ronnie has treated some people, including Jack equally as badly as she has been treated (excluding Archie). She isn't your nicey nice character either.

What crap! My sister married a widowed man and he is anything but boring. Just because your spouse dies does not make you boring. I would just prefer her to be with a man and not have the issue of the baby mommas about. We have already tackled that with Jack. Also if the mother is on the scene Ronnie will not be required to step into the mothers shoes. Whereas if the mother has died the children might be looking to a female role model. I think it would be more boring to have Ronnie with a man who has kids with someone else still on the scene we got that already. Joel was not a nice man nor was he widowed. He was a married man who had kids with his wife. Again this is boring.

And EE should never be scared to break away from sterotypes Grant Mitchell (not that I am even slightly suggesting him) is a widow. Hardly Mr Nice Guy even in his 2nd stint. Depsite being calmer we still had him threatening to break the arm of a teenage girl. Not that I want this guy to be nasty like that but I am making a point. So I can imagine all sorts of problems and issues. He does not need to be Mr Nice and Boring. Not sure where that sterotype of yours comes from but not EE thats for sure. I saw this suggested on another forum and at the time remember thinking what a good idea it was.

I can imagine a widowed man would be ultra protective of his kids. Imagine if they got together and she bonded with the kids and nobody told him that she had just come out of prison? Now we all know the backstory of why she did what she did. But most people who do not would react with panic especially if they were around their children. It would be a good place to properly investigate why she did what she did. A 2 hander with him but her doing most of the talking. Her mental issues were brushed aside and most characters including Jack and Roxy who know the problems would not be suitable for such a episode. But a new man would not be. We never did get a proper reveal via the rape, or really get into why she did what she did. It was glossed over in favour of Kat's view. This would be her explaining herself and getting her view. By the way that man my sister married was sucessful, very good looking and widowed young. He was not boring in the slightest, why not have a new hunk with kids on the show? And instead of it being issues with yet another woman who can produce healthy children which has been done to death with joke Jack, the issues being Ronnie being a mother to children who like her have suffered grief? A baby who would grow up with Ronnie as their mother and older kids who feel they can talk to Ronnie in a way they can not their father? Give the children a story rather than just be part of this new characters background. They have suffered grief, so has Ronnie. Maybe the older one understands why Ronnie did what she did before the father. Simply because he is not Mr Nice guy.

I know this is not that popular but if Ronnie returned I think they should bring her back with a baby/child. Imo Ronnie should either have the baby off screen or never have a child of her own for as long as she is in EE, at least not for a few years. The viewers and the character are exhausted in that aspect of the storylines so there should not be any baby related storylines on screen for Ronnie.

With Roxy having Amy, there is always a chance that the baby issues would crop up if Ronnie didn’t have a child, so bringing her back with one would be a way to have that covered. Also all the fears Ronnie would realistically have if she was pregnant and have a baby would have been dealt and assumed to have happened off screen, so she returns with a new lease of life.

For all we know Ronnie could have had a massive breakdown off screen, received therapy and help during pregnancy and after the baby was born, so they can put a lid on that and move her character on.
