I know this is not that popular but if Ronnie returned I think they should bring her back with a baby/child. Imo Ronnie should either have the baby off screen or never have a child of her own for as long as she is in EE, at least not for a few years. The viewers and the character are exhausted in that aspect of the storylines so there should not be any baby related storylines on screen for Ronnie.

With Roxy having Amy, there is always a chance that the baby issues would crop up if Ronnie didn’t have a child, so bringing her back with one would be a way to have that covered. Also all the fears Ronnie would realistically have if she was pregnant and have a baby would have been dealt and assumed to have happened off screen, so she returns with a new lease of life.

For all we know Ronnie could have had a massive breakdown off screen, received therapy and help during pregnancy and after the baby was born, so they can put a lid on that and move her character on.
She would be showing by now and we all know Roxy has seen her recently. And her next of kin would be contacted especially considering Ronnie's fragile mental state. No more jumping the shark with Ronnie please. It was bad enough with the baby swap. I actually do not want to see anymore baby themed stories. But if she does have a baby it would have to be after she was released because in jail even if the baby is allowed to stay in the unit they contact the next of kin, because they need to know nobody will be requesting legal access. Plus the babies are not allowed to stay there indefinitely and foster care costs money so again the authorities would contact the next of kin. Whether Ronnie wanted them too, her husband has the legal right to know if a child is born to a woman that is his wife even if the child is not biologically theres. Because the husband is seen as the father whether he is or not. It would be illegal of the prison to deliberately withold his own child from him.

Does anyone know if there is any things lined up for Sam post SP? I am really hoping to hear of some television projects?

I do not think Sam is going to return, that is not her style. And I would hate to have her return just to have a baby. I would think with the therapy she is having she would want to adjust to her life on the outside that would be the most important thing. I do not want anymore baby storylines that involve Ronnie period. I actually would prefer her to get with a man who was widowed with children and see her become a mum to them. But Ronnie did get out at the right time and I am glad that I do not think Sam is returning.

I want to see Sam do more tv work with a show totally different from EE. Quite a few have gotten their own shows even if it was for a few seasons Letitia Dean, Ross Kemp, Tamzin Outhwaite to name a few got their own shows. I am not talking about RK gang work docs I mean own shows where they played the lead fictional character. This is something I want to see for her.
I totally second this and the BIB is what I've been thinking about since Ronnie left

I see where you are coming from, but I'd also feel "cheated" that we didn't get to see Ronnie during her pregnancy and the first few days with her baby. It was bad enough with her pregnancy with James.

Either way, I'm never going to be satisfied. I don't want her to be associated with any more baby drama etc but all I've ever wanted for Ronnie is to have her own baby.
Gads!

I am so glad Babs is making a return for Pat's exit.
Who knows what the future holds. Sam might make a return, albeit a very brief one if things get really bad for Roxy.

Fingers crossed

Not that relevant here. I saw the spoilers about Amy/Roxy/Jack storyline.

I am not sure what to make of these spoilers. I have a feeling Jack won’t be liked much amongst the viewers.
This is probably the producers listening to the numerous posts in these forums regarding how they have messed up Jack’s character by making him father all these kids, especially Richard, and hardly ever seeing them, so are trying to show that he regrets it and will be a good father to all of them from now on. So it is probably an attempt to redeem that aspect of the character but it will probably be a case of too little too late with the viewers.

It won’t go down very well with the public if he denies access to Roxy. Roxy is more liked than Jack. Also in fairness Roxy loves Amy and Jack hasn’t supported her much, so it is not like he is in a position to deny Roxy access.

Also I am a bit confused about the spoilers. What is Jack going to tell about the Mitchells that would be relevant to the social worker?

He won’t be in Ronnie’s good books after this.

I am so excited, my "Imogen's face" DVD arrived yesterday.

I haven't watched it yet though.
Is that an official release? I haven't seen Imogen's face since it was on TV so I have forgotten what happened except some women has plastic surgery or something and ends up looking like Sam (every girl's dream )

This storyline is going to make me cringe - at the writing and the acting

If Sam returns then she will return the show to its former glory.

May not be a popular opinion in here, but I am quite looking forward to this new Roxy storyline, as for me, Roxy and Jack are the next best thing to Ronnie. Hopefully we'll get some Ronnie mentions aswell

No it is not the official release. It has never been released in DVD as far as I know. I watched it on Sunday. First Sam looks absolutely gorgeous. There are a few sex explicit scenes, all but one involving Sam. Sam is Imogen. There are no plastic surgeries or anything but evryone including her sister love Imogen. She is the beautiful sister that everyone adores who starts an affair whilst pregnant with twins. After the birth of the twins, Imogen confides in her sister Amanda, who she has a very close relationship with, and asks her to cover for her whilst Imogen spends the weekend with her lover. Without going in too much detail the affair is revealed and Imogen and her husband separate. Imogen' sister sleeps with Imogen's husband and gets pregnant (a bit like Roxy and Jack lol, only she tells Imogen, unlike Roxy).

Lol if I was Ep, Christmas 2012's sl would be the return of the beautiful, strong and confident Ron, back to her old gorgeous, independent, feisty and no non sense self, to take over the Mitchells and show Janine and possibly Derek Branning, who will probably be "top dog" of the square by then, how it's done. By then Roxy is probably back on drugs and Ronnie will come back and take control.

I'd definitely start watching again if this happened! As much as I love the more fragile Ronnie, I also loved the 2007/08 feisty Ronnie. She was hard as nails and it's a shame people like Kat didn't see that side as I'd imagine even she'd be afraid!

I'm feeling positive that Ronnie could walk back into a storyline if Sam ever returned as the Roxy/Jack feud would probably still be evident and I'm sure Ronnie would support Roxy all the way! I hope it does happen as I'm missing the days where I got really excited about watching EE!

This is the best news this year and is a big slap in the face to those who never put Sam up for award ceremonies.

WOW 4 awards

And thats only from 1 ceromony imagine just how much awards she would have won if she had been nominated over her 4 years at EE

And yes that is a massive slap in the face to EE and BK for not nominating her

Is that like an actual ceremony thing where they get solid awards in there hands or is it just like the title of i.e 'sexiest female'
