She is his wife she can not have his baby in prison without him being told. Even if the baby was not his as her husband they would be legally bound to inform him, so I am sure they are not going down that route. I think they are better apart. Sam is a far better actress and Ronnie a better character until they started to ruin her.
I just can not believe how obvious they were. I predicted this would happen a few months later her refusing to see him. So they can free him up to have other women. I would not be surprised if this time next year he is married again. |

Right now, she could possibly not know she is pregnant depending on when she last slept with Jack. Or she knows and not told anyone again. EE could easily manipulate the dates again and he finds out she's pregnant in the New Year.
![]() Yeah and If they make it that Ronnie is refusing to see Jack it could be that she is pregnant so IF Sam returns in the future then she could come back with a child or at least the writer have the option or not

She deserves better than the car crash BK made Ronnie at the end. They did not appreciate her. |

Why do you want Ronnie to have a unrealistic storyline? How many times do I need to say it? Jack would be informed as the husband because legally the child would be his. If the prison did not they would be guilty of kidnap. Like that documetary that was on this woman was married and pregnant by someone who was not her husband, nor had she seen him in ages. But as the husband he had to be legally informed as in the eyes of the law it was his child. Well since Ronnie will not be out by the new year I do not think she is pregnant. Sorry but no more jumping the shark or stupid baby storylines. I actually have a feeling Sam wont return to EE.

I think Chelsea meant regarding my post - if Ronnie kept the pregnancy to herself that could be her reason for refusing to see Jack.

I've been off this forum for a while - busy with college work
![]() It all seems to be talks about Ronnie and the storyline if she is coming back etc etc rather than Sam related now. I really dont think that Sam will return to EE (if she does it wont be for a very long time) |

Not much to talk about as we won’t have any news of Sam. I can’t wait for her commitment to SP to come to an end. The Manchester shows should be over by now so one less until it ends. I hope she won’t extend her contract.
![]() I really miss seeing Sam on screen. After watching Imogen’s face, I really want to see her do a movie, but I also want to see her in a TV series, EE included. |

What was Imogen's face like?
Sam was very good and she looked gorgeous. It was nice to see Sam in nearly every scene as you are following the main character as opposed to a TV series where you have to put up with some rather dull stories just to get a few minutes with the character you are interested in. Obviously that is the nature of the different genres’ and like I said I want to see her again in a TV series, but a movie would be nice. It has been a long time since she last did one. |

This is a Ronnie thread but considering that Roxy is the closest thing left of Ronnie in EE, here are some spoilers for Jack/Amy/Roxy storyline Monday 28th November Quote:
Roxy needs dirt on Jack in order to get Amy back but gets more than she bargained for when she digs a little deeper into Derek’s past.
Tuesday 29th NovemberQuote:
Jack and Roxy fight for temporary custody of Amy in the interim court appearance. Thursday 1st DecemberRainie and Derek give in to temptations and get caught in a comprising position by Denise and Heather. Quote:
Phil thinks Jack knows more than he is letting on and ransacks Jack's apartment.

Does Jack even have PR? I don’t recall his name being on the birth certificate and considering that he and Roxy were never married he doesn’t get PR unless he is registered as her father on the birth certificate. He has no legal rights over Amy otherwise.
I doubt they would explain any of that but ideally they should. Roxy can very well use that to delay everything. |

I have to agree. I've never liked Ronnie and Jack together. I only "put up" with him because of Ronnie. I did enjoy the little family unit they were at the start of the year, but sadly it wasn't real.
I prefer them apart. Had they stayed married and not been given the baby swap, I wouldn't have minded them staying together, but because EE went down that route, I don't think there is any way back from them as a couple. I'd hate for Ronnie to have his baby in prison and I'd hate for Jack to get on with his life and then go completely backwards if Ronnie returned and they reunited. Jack obviously does have trust issues, he did mention Ronnie tonight so he is still hurting. BUT then they could be the sorta couple (written well) where it makes absolutely no sense for them to be together but somehow they are. I also think they are going to have a Mitchell vs Brannings feud possibly for the rest of next year, so I don’t want Ronnie, if she returned to be stuck in the middle of something like that with Jack. |

I like Rack but I don’t care if they were apart. If Ronnie came back I want to see the strong Ronnie. So if Jack only serves to make her miserable I would rather they never got back together. It is time for Ronnie to have some fun, not in the sense of becoming a comedy character as that is not what Ronnie should be, but I don’t want her to be miserable. Being reminded of Jack and his many kids will only serve to do that.

It was very good. I maybe biased, but I liked it. It had a few twists so it wasn’t just a straightforward affair story.

Sounds like my kinda thing if it features a lo-ot of Sam

maybe she returns to sort both familys out
![]() ![]() She has a friendship with Max, history with Jack, is fond of Dot and has an okay relationship with Abi and Lauren. I can imagine her marching up to the Brannings and Mitchells and banging their heads together. haha |

I remember all those times when she has put them in their place. There was one scene after she slept with Jack when she shut up Peggy, Phil and Roxy. Or with Danny when she told him that he was Roxy’s poodle not hers. ![]() And then there was that time when she threw Jack and Max out of the pub when they were fighting. |

I agree, as much as I'm not keen on the idea of divorce, it is really the only way forward for both characters.
I'd actually like to see Ronnie return to serve the papers rather than do it in prison. ![]() I am really conflicted about Jack. There are times when I think he is not good for Ronnie and he really annoys me, although that is generally due to inconsistent writing both re his children and the babies with Sam and the pregnancy scare with Chelsea. Both not realistic, considering that he slept with both those women after the condom fiasco with Ronnie. And if he used protection with Ronnie, there is no way he wouldn't have done so with Sam and Chelsea. However there are times when he has been so sweet and so supportive of Ronnie, he has been her rock and saved her from possible self destruction way before James’ death. That has been consistent since Danielle’s death. He never gave up on her after the condom fiasco and forgave her, which is something that possibly no other man in EE would have forgiven. If the roles were reversed and a man did that to a woman getting them pregnant, that would be major. He supported her during Archie's revenge on the Mitchells and stood by her when her family, namely Roxy and Peggy didn't even want to know her, which coincided with possibly the hardest time in Ronnie's life. And most recently with the baby swap. Alfie, who has been painted like a saint since his return is possibly the only other character in EE that would have done that, although he was very harsh on Kat with Andy so even Alfie might not have been so forgiving. So I think Jack is a good man and he genuinely loves Ronnie and has been really sweet that is why I can’t make up my mind whether I want them together or apart. It all depends on the writing really. |

It is a difficult one. As you've highlighted, Jack has been truly good for Ronnie, but EE ruined all that in a puff of smoke by making Richard his, so for me, adding the baby swap, I honestly just don't want them together any more.

I would have Ronnie return by they are frosty towards each other at first the Ronnie kidnapped by an old enemy of Jack's and Jack rescues her to rekindle their romance no baby drama in site

no chance then with teh current crop. They need to rehire some old writers from the 80's/90's.
