Samantha Janus who starred with Patrick Swayze in his London stage debut Guys And Dolls, said last night, "I feel very lucky to have had both Patrick and his wife Lisa in my life as friends. He was awonderful brave man, a great talent and a sensitive and caring friend. I will miss him.It was an honour and privilege working with Patrick and he'll be truly missed."

Actress Samantha Janus's steamy scenes with EastEnders co-star Scott Maslen, (who plays smoothie Jack Branning), have attracted less than rave reviews from their respective children.
'It ticks me off,' admits Samantha's eight-year-old son Benjamin while best friend Zac, seven, who is Scott's son, says he found it ' embarrassing'.

What the boys clearly did like watching this week was the Walking With Dinosaurs spectacular at London's 02 Arena. Bigger lizards. . .

The EastEnders star - who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the soap - was in the top four in her category at this year's awards, which is voted for by the public.

Samantha said: "Sexiest female I'd like to get because I'm about twice the age of everyone else who's up, so I'd like to nail them."
The 35-year-old soap star lost out to Hollyoaks Roxanne McKee, who won for the second time. But Samantha was still looking forward to partying at the awards.
She said: "It's a bit manic, it's unlike anything I've ever been to before.
"I can't really drink, I've got three kids to look after tomorrow, but I'll try!"

Samantha Janus has revealed that she helped nurse an injured pigeon back to health.

The actress, who plays Ronnie Mitchell on the soap, told the BBC that she looked after the racing pigeon in between filming.

"The poor thing was limping around the set of Albert Square. He was not only tired, but injured too. So I've taken care of him."

The soap star also reported the missing bird to the Racing Pigeon Association, which is trying to contact the owner.

Janus said: "He is now in a shed, at home in my garden. We've called him Albert after where he was found. They're trying to contact the owners, but I'm not sure they would want an injured bird - but if they don't we will keep him as my kids are already attached to him."

It is good that they get on so well and your right you can tell when you see them performing on the stage. I wish i could go and see it again but i was told that once was more than enough!
