How did you find out this ?/

It was in both SL and AAS. AAS had Ronnie and Jack on the cover. Jack doesn't allow Roxy to see Amy. Later Roxy tells Jack about the divorce. I am assuming Roxy goes to see Ronnie after Jack doesn't allow her to see Amy.
The wording was a bit different, one of the magazines said Roxy tells Jack that Ronnie has filed for divorce; the other said Roxy tells Jack that Ronnie wants a divorce.
So I am not sure whether Ronnie is just threatening him or whether she has already filed for divorce already.

I don’t think this is any more or less indicator whether Sam will return or not. Even if she was to return, they would have gone down the divorce route anyway to free Jack up but also so that there is some conflict there if Ronnie returns. They did that with Max and Tanya when Jo went on maternity leave.

This is really freaky that I am stalking twitter this much but it looks like JillArmour I think it is, one of the dancers in South Pacific is staying with Sam this weekend. She has tweeted a few pictures of Humphrey, the big Bull Dog which was in Sams 'Hello' interview as a puppy and tweeted how her weekend off has begun well with "a beautiful house, beautiful views and beautiful people," which is really nice of her, it seems like all the cast get on well with Sam. Stephen tweeted me and Emma (from Twitter) about how nice it was watching Sam in Game On and how hilarious it was, he also said he'd tell Sam we think she should do another series of Game On and he said he'd report back on Tuesday to what she says! Bit random but thought I'd just let anyone who comes on here but isn't on twitter.

I'm so happy to say I get to see Sam again in South Pacific before she finishes, I booked my tickets on Friday night, a group of us off twitter are going together. Can't explain my excitement! Anybody off here going to see it in the coming months?

When are you going to see SP?
Thats really nice. A group of us may go Birmingham as the kids from the performance arts school I go to are performing again. Apparently the Company were that happy with them performing in Manchester they asked them to do other venues too that were close to them and they are doing Birmingham and some others. So I think we are getting a trip up to see them - well I hope so.

She'll return but not for about another 5 years I reckon.

Yeah all the cast seem to love Sam as much as we do and everyone gets on so well together from what I can tell

Imo the fact that Ronnie is divorcing Jack is the natural progression of the storyline whether Sam plans to return or not, so I don't take it as more confirmation that she won't return.
I am not saying she will but even if they knew for sure that Sam would return and when, Jack and Ronnie were going to get divorced anyway.
Say if Ronnie was to return, even a few months down the line, they can't have Jack waiting for her, Ronnie coming back and everything goes back to normal. There is always going to be some conflict so the divorce was going to happen regardless.

Sorry guys, I know this is probably very unpopular but I don’t want Sam to go back to doing comedy now.
Babes in the Wood and Game on are fine and I like both but I love her more when she does serious drama. Ronnie is imo Sam’s finest work. Sam of her performances were just amazing.
And I don’t want her to continue doing theatre/musicals again after SP.
For me I hope she will do either a movie or drama whether that be series drama or not.

I agree with the above post by LiliRose. I think it was always inevitable that Jack & Ronnie were going to divorce, Ronnie had told him to move on before she took the stand, and refuses to see him in prison so I feel it was always on the cards. I think it'll be more interesting if Ronnie ever did return anyway rather than everything just falling back into place.

Ronnie's been behind bars for a few months now though and this is the first we've heard of it so maybe she's been thinking about it for a while but not wanting to hurt Jack. However, it seems Roxy goes to visit Ronnie in prison (not sure if this is the first time or not?) and Roxy will obviously tell Ronnie that Jack won't let her see Amy and maybe this fuels her/ gives her the courage to mention wanting a divorce. I did at first understand Jack's reasoning towards Amy and the whole custody thing but I think he's got a bit of a cheek not letting his daughter see her mother, and also because he's only just remembered he's got a daughter. I know it's not really a dig at Ronnie, but I do feel he's being really insensitive by basically taking away Amy from Roxy, when he knows that his wife is behind bars/ a broken woman because her children have been taken away from her. I'm sure Ronnie would be really upset when she heard what Jack was putting Roxy through and Roxy knows Jack is still totally in love with Ronnie so of course she's going to want to hurt him by telling him the news, just like he's hurting her. I would love for Jack to have a conversation about Ronnie wanting a divorce with someone like Dot or Max and for them to be like, well what do you expect and for them to point out that he's doing to Roxy, effectively what Archie did to Ronnie (although obviously slightly different).

Just because they divorce, it doesn't mean Ronnie won't come back. I always said if she does come back, it'll be for Roxy, not for Jack.

I agree. If Ronnie was to come back it will be for Roxy. Roxy is the one thing that means more to Ronnie than anyone else.
Even in her last episode Ronnie said to Roxy that she is the person that she loves most. I even remember Roxy saying to her, what Jack has to say about it. And Ronnie said it is true, I love you ... I can't remember the exact wording now.

If Ronnie was to return it would be for Roxy and to help her out of the mess she has got herself into with the situation with Jack and Amy - nothing else.

Ronnie would be so disappointed in Jack and knowing he is responsible doing this to Roxy where is now in a custody battle to try to get her daughter back.

I can't understand how Jack has got Amy when he has just decided to be apart of her life and acknowledge that he has got a daughter - plus he hasn't even seen or spoken of Penny or Richard. So Roxy goes out for the night and leaves Amy with, who is thought were people she trusted to look after her child That incident could have happened to anyone and yes it was unfortunite. I am not trying to say that Roxy deserves the award for Mum of the year but at least she has been there more for Amy than Jack

Thanks for all the links. One minute I am ok with the idea of seeing Sam on BGT but the next I am against it. I have only watched the first series partly, and seriously could not sit through it anymore so having to watch it because of Sam is going to be trying.

However, (I know I sound like a broken record) I can't wait for this to finish now too.

I dont want her to do BGT as its a waste of her talent it should be her on the stage (or screen)

Sam is still in SP for about another 3 months then I think she is taking some time off to spend with her family
