LOL this is from a Shane Ritchie interview

When did you last have a good snog?

Shane: Um, um, um - when I really enjoyed it? When I was doing either Grease or Boogie Nights. When you can do it with Samantha Janus or Lisa Maxwell in front of 2,000 people and get a cheer - and sing a song at the end of it - then you know you've had a really good snog. I'm sidestepping this issue nicely, aren't I? I think I'm doing rather well.

Was watching some old Ronnie clips when I couldn't sleep last night + although I have some reservations, I'd quite like her to return at some point. I think it could be quite good if handled correctly + the actual return could be pretty epic Aslong as the return wasn't then 95% about how Kat/Alfie would handle Ronnie being back on the Square  because although this would inevitably be looked at as it's unavoidable really, Ronnie's return, if she ever returns, should be about Ronnie. I think it'd work quite well on location with Roxy or somebody bumping into her.. I don't know really but ideally I'd love it to involve Peggy but I'm probably thinking outside of the box now

On another note, I was in a paper shop today and threw up a little in my mouth when I saw the covers off AAS and Soaplife... speculation about Kat/Jack, implying they have a baby or affair  or something along those lines, I didn't actually open the magazine, just a glance at the cover. I know these aren't particularly reliable sources and I'm sure Kat/Jack has been rumoured before, but sadly, I can actually see something happening. Who knows anymore!
Hopefully if and when Ronnie returns Kat and Alfie would have left EE all together and B.K too.

If the producers bother to stay true to the character, Jack and Kat can never be anything more than a drunken mistake.
Kat would never appeal to Jack unless he was completely drank and out of it. An affair or relationship with Kat is completely out of character.

Gotta say, Jack going to James' grave meant nothing to me. Too little too late.
And I found Kat being there made it worse. I understand why she was there, but still.

Kat and Alfie have GOT to go. They've been done to death now. They should have never come back because IMO they have been completely ruined. I don't think either character is salvagable. EE decided to go down this lame route of Kat cheating on Alfie, him not trusting her, her feeling sorry for herself and I'm just like  old news.
I don't expect her not to stray but really, I don't get how she feels any more. I have no empathy for the character. All my patience for both characters has long gone out of the window.

So if EE up their game and get rid of them two, the path will be cleared for our Veronica to return
I 100% agree with BIB. All is needed is a good storyline with slick writing all the way through. Sam can do the rest

And as for that Kat/Jack thing. I vomited into my mouth too. I think I'd actually turn off if this happened.
They would never cross paths if they didn't have this baby swap in common.
I still want EE to bring out Jack's dark side instead of keep focusing on him putting about.

Ems good to see you back

I felt exactly the same on both counts. Seeing Jack there doesn't affect me.

And seeing Kat made it worse. The amount of times we have seen Kat there makes me even more annoyed that we never had Ronnie at her child's grave.
If only we could have access to those cut scenes of Ronnie at the grave.

Is this the last of SP shows that Sam is doing?
I can't wait for her to finish with SP. It has been such a long time and I am really hoping to see her back on TV soon. Can't wait for some news.

Did anyone managed to hear the interview with Sam on BBC Radio Solent yesterday afternoon. It was meant to have been on from 1.20pm.

I suspect it will be pretty much the same things that she has been asked since SP started, but there maybe something new.

I am not a Rack fan but it appears Roxy and Jack sleep together in week 6 according to the press office spoilers. I am all for keeping Rack apart but not if we get yet another pregnancy

The interview was recorded a few weeks ago backstage in Sams dressing room at Oxford and you could hear some of the cast speaking in the background

I can honestly say this has got to be one of the best interviews Sam has ever done.It lasted an hour. The played Sams eurovision song as well as some SP ones then also played some of her Favorite song. She talked about EVERY program she has ever done, she spoke a bit about EE and SP and then about working with Patrick Swayze when she did guys and dolls. She also talked about her grandmother, dad, mum and how her grandmother was a choreographer, her dad was a songwriter and her mum was an actress/model and also the guys doing the radio had met Sams grandmother several times. Then she spoke about her family and how her and Mark were taking her kids on holiday. And also Lili-Rose was sitting next to Sam and Sam asked her if she wanted to say hello to the radio and there was just an awkward silence

They haven't put it up on the website but i suppose you could ask!

OMG this is exactly what everyone knew what would happen.

And there was this interview with a producer once (I cant remember who it was) but he said that when the viewers can predict what is happening then you no longer have a TV show and this is exactly what is happening
