I try to like Roxy but I can’t be bothered with her these days. I find it really hard because as soon as she starts to improve they take her back repeating the same things over and over again, such as complete disloyalty to Ronnie, time and time again, choosing Archie, Christian, Michael, Jack over Ronnie.
Pairing her up with Jack again is a foolish thing and it is all so boring.
Unless the writers are going to completely ignore the history of these characters, not only Roxy can’t be so gullible as to believe that Ronnie doesn’t love Jack anymore but she should also know that she has played a part in this divorce due to Amy’s custody battle. Further more Roxy also knows that Jack will never love her.

As for Jack, I used to argue that he is potentially interesting as a character with his background and being a flawed and amoral character. I liked Ronnie and Jack too, especially before that Richard nonsense but the way they keep using the character as they see fit with the plot annoys me and I have gone right off him. I don't like him nowadays and I don't care about him or Roxy.

Like I have posted before, If Ronnie returns I hope she won’t have anything to do with Jack anymore. I know she won’t wash her hands off Roxy but I want her to at least give Roxy a hard time and get her to apologise properly. I was really annoyed that Roxy never apologised for going after Jack after Amy was born and for betraying Ronnie in the first place by sleeping with him and keeping it a secret.

So unless Mark finds a job, Sam is probably likely to continue with SP or have I misunderstood it?

I think they are the type of parents that would like at least one of them to be at home with the kids.So like if Mark got offered a job,then since SP is touring the UK atm I think Sam would stay at home.But when SP goes to the West End after the tour she might do it,even if Mark is working coz London is only like an hour away from Sams house.

I want to see Sam back on TV tho (NOT on EE) but i think her heart is in musical theater!

It seems like most of us want to see her back on TV and especially drama. I fear we are in for at least two years wait, unless something extremely exciting comes Sam's way.

Apparently Sam is now doing the Leeds part of the tour which is 26 June- 7 July

They haven't had the custody hearing/decision yet, I think that's Friday

The Roxy/Jack scenes were actually quite nice tonight, although I personally don't see the chemistry. However, saying that, although the scenes were nice - they for me, are not believable because of Jack and Ronnie. It's all a bit bizarre - Carol, Bianca, Michael + Tanya were all aware something had gone on between Rox and Jack so were therefore speculating/gossiping but, no one mentioned Ronnie. It's like she never existed. I think it was Michael who said something to Roxy like 'he's only using you for the custody battle, playing games' or something to that effect - and I just wanted to shout ... but more importantly he was married to your sister / is still wearing his wedding ring! It's crazy.

I don't get why they didn't mention her either, tbh

Jack and Ronnie are not divorced yet or am i wrong. As far as i know Roxy said to Jack that Ronnie wants a divorce thats it we have seen no divorce papers or heared Jack actually say that he got divorce papers or he and Ronnie are divorced?

As for Roxy & Jack - disastrous move. Jack's still in love with Ronnie, for one

There was an episode some time after Jack found out from Roxy that Ronnie wanted a divorce where he was talking about marriage to someone - think it was Alfie. He said something along the lines of, you always want to think your marriage is going to work, even when you can feel the divorce papers burning a hole in your pocket, or something like that. I took that to mean he had received the divorce papers unless it was just metaphorical, I don't know. But I think the divorce is in progess. If he has received the papers, they may still be in his pocket, which makes what he's currently doing even worse than it already is, as he obviously still loves Ronnie. Either way, Roxy/Jack is so wrong.

To be honest i do not think that they will get divorced. I cannot see Jack giving Ronnie up that easily after everything that has happened between them but when Ronnie finds out about them spending the night together he will have no choice.

I agree, especially since it's her sister. She's put up with his affairs before, but I think this is the final straw

Not forgetting that before Ronnie put up with Jacks affairs because they were not together ( Roxy, Chelsea, Sam, Tanya). Now they are married so it makes a big differences.

It was only a few weeks ago that we watched Jacks heart break when Roxy told him Ronnie wanted a divorce, even Roxy commented how she knew what he was feeling because she knows how much he loves her sister so how in such a short period can Roxy forget that. I know it's a soap / nit real life but if I was in Roxys shoes and he was divorcing my sister I wouldn't want to near him anyhow, firstly HE WAS MARRIED TO MY SISTER and the fact that he has slept with my sister would put me right off, it would just be not right. Idk if I am thinking too much into it but they seem to always drill aspects of a soap need to hit reality and this 'thing' just isn't realistic. Yes, maybe Jack is growing up and is realising he needs to settle down, Roxy is there along with his child ready, however he gas declined her SO many times when she has chucked herself at him it seems impossible to think he'd go back on all that hassle, in the mids of divorcing the women he declared his love for.

About the divorce, nothing has being said that it had gone ahead yet, from what I believe for a divorce to take part don't you need both parties consent? Surely Jack could decline it and not divorce her. What is bugging me, yes another thing is that fact he is STILL wearing the wedding ring, now the writers must be telling him to keep wearing it as I remember a scene ages ago when Sam had forgot to take off her actual real life wedding band off and she later commented on it in an interview that she had totally forgot about it and the producers reminded her weeks after. So if they are telling him to wear it still while shagging her sister, what are they trying to say?

The saddest thing about this is if it were the other way around Jack was in prison and Ronnie was in the outside i do`nt think for a second that Ronnie would betray him even if Jack did ask for a divorce.

I think the best way to write Ronnie off the show is when her release date is up is to have her move to Ibiza as she doesn't want to speak to Jack or Roxy ever again. This would be more plausible then her being happy with them getting together or dieing in prison.

I would rather she comes back to walford finds out about there night together give them hell. If Ronnie just left she would never be able to move on from Jack. Kinda like Becky from corrie she had to move on from Steve that is what Ronnie needs to do or else who ever she is with she will always be thinking of Jack.

I totally agree. God knows why Ronnie would want anything to do with them. I would want to see her back if only for one episode just to see Jack and Roxy's faces when Ronnie tells them she never wants to see the pair of them again. It is annoying that Roxy never gets her comeuppance over the way she treats Ronnie.

It wouldn't surprise me if we didn't see a Jack and Roxy wedding within a year or so. It really is sick. Surely it must cross Roxy's mind that Jack maybe comparing her with Ronnie. It is enough to turn one's stomach.
I don't know what the writers are playing at. Yes Ronnie is off screen but there is a thing called continuity and character history.

I don't care what Rita says, like lou posted, it was only a few months ago that she spoke to him about how sad he is whenever he goes to see Ronnie and how upset he was when he got the divorce papers.

Presumably she still visits Ronnie in prison. What does she say to her sister?

I also hate the way Jack goes round sleeping with anyone. I think Roxy has always wanted Jack as we saw at Amys christening but he turned her down for Ronnie. Then there was the time where Ronnie left and Roxy kept telling Jack that Ronnie has met someone and she kept making a move on him. I`m sure Ronnie is just as upset as Jack is about the divorce that is if she even knows about the divorce. Roxy could have said it to Jack to hurt him because he took Amy.

I can't be bothered to watch the episode on i-player but was Jack or Roxy pretending to like each other and sleep together to keep the other person sweet before the custody hearing or were they both genuinely attracted to each other.(vomit smiley)


I wonder how Jack and Roxy would have reacted if the shoe was in the other foot and Ronnie had gone with Michael when he was obsessing over her. I bet they wouldn't have liked it.

Sorry i did not watch it too the idea of them sleeping together again is sad. As far as i know Ronnie`s name was not mentioned at all.

The truth is both Roxy and Jack do not know the meaning of LOYALTY.

Roxy sleeps with Jack twice knowing how her sister feels about him.
Jack got together with his brothers wife and was planning to move away to France with her.

Were is the LOYALTY.

I agree but I guess the writers only care about existing characters regardless of future plots if Ronnie returns. Jack and Roxy would have disowned Ronnie had she had an affair with Michael.

I really don't think Sam wiull return in the near future anyway and by then Roxy or Jack may have been axed anyway. They are not the greatest characters on EE (both are overshadowed now Jack by Max and Derek and Roxy but well practocally every other female.
