I think I have managed to catch up on everytibg I missed (thank god for YouTube I think I managed to watch all the ronnie scenes in the build up to her leaving sooo just wondering who is going/when to south pacific?! When he includes Shane and even Scott in there, it loses all value. I think scott had some of his best scenes and shane was good, but I'd hardly put shane or scott in the same league as Sam and Jessie.

Tbh in this storyline I wouldn't even put Jessie in the same league as Sam. Jessie hasn't been consistent and has had mixed reviews.
Sam has been consistent and has had great reviews during this storyline.

Anyway, B.K only mentioned Sam after numerous interviews with no mention whatsoever and after he saw the public response as well as the soap critics praise for Sam's acting.

If I am not mistaken that quote is from his last interview with DS, after Sam's departure from EE.
The first time he mentioned Sam was when he was put on the spot and had to comment on the comment that a viewer had made about Sam’s talent. So he had no choice but to mention her.

How come Carol is so different in the way she treats Ronnie and Tanya?
She was full of sympathy towards Tanya last night, attacking Vanessa, despite Tanya being the guilty one there. I am assuming she doesn’t say anything bad to Tanya because she knows Max loves her.

Whereas with Ronnie she called her a freak, made such a big fuss about going to court and I haven’t seen her apologise to Jack even after she found out that Ronnie never broke into the Vic, nor showing any sympathy over Ronnie losing her children and being on her own when it all happened.
She knows that Jack loves Ronnie so why giving different treatments to them.

I was thinking the exact same thing last night. Carol was vicious towards Vanessa last night, more so than Ronnie. I can only think because Carol has kids she finds that as common ground to be sympathetic to Tanya with.

I would have thought that having just lost a child herself, also seeing how much Jack loves her, she would have sympathy for Ronnie, but clearly not.
And this is not the first time. I still remember her being quite rude to Ronnie when Jack was shot. Turning her away whilst allowing Chelsea to stay by his bedside.

So I wouldn't book any tickets for 2012 as it looks like Sam won't be doing those dates.

I won't spill much, Alisons back today and I'm sure shell come on here squealing for her life but she met Sam after the show, she said the show was amazing and that you could sometimes see parts of Mandy and Ronnie in Nellie as Sam played her! The shows fantastic as well! She met Sam at the stage door as she left and she stopped and spoke to her for about 10 minutes I'm sure Alison will spill what was said but she has posted the topic of discussion on twitter!
