It would be good for Amy to say just one word, any word really. The only time I remember her talking was when Ronnie had her and she was showing her the drawing of James. Ronnie asked who that is.
Amy said "mummy" and then Ronnie did the rest of the talking.

BIB You have to keep an eye whenever they have scenes in the Gym's office. There is a board on the left, as you enter the office. There are lots of papers there so it is not immediately “on your face” obvious, but it is Jack and Ronnie's wedding picture. It is the same picture that was there in the episode before Ronnie's last episode. When she went to see Michael in the office and she looks at the picture on the board and smiles.

Agreed. Amy is 4 years old next month. Most little girls her age that I know or know of are mainly quiet when they are asleep
She also said "I want my mummy" x2 to Ben when he was babysitting her in that ep where she nearly drowned.
So, we've established she can say "mummy."

It'd be interesting if EE did do a s/l with Amy where she had trouble speaking - maybe combined with learning difficulties, or has a stutter. There's plenty of direction for that story to go and would be good character development for Roxy.
"Blonde bimbo single mum with child with learning difficulties" would reflect that it can happen to anybody kinda thing.

Ahh thanks Lili, that's good to know. Will definitely keep my eyes peeled

No worries

On another note It has been so long without any news about Sam's next project. I wonder whether Lou has had any luck with twitter stalking.

Erm Sammy has been doing a lot of shopping lately. She was in sports direct yesterday and Next today, as well as a random services

Her and Mark went for lunch last week with one of the cast of Liverpool 1 which is dead nice that they all keep in contact still. The guy tweeted how he'd had 'a lovely lunch with Womack and Womack *no not the singers*' haha

Nothing Sam news to suggest future projects. I'm presuming she's a lady of leisure right now if we don't hear about anything soon.

LOVE this post. You clearly are our resident Sam reporter. (prefer that to stalker )

I reckon she'll be a lady of leisure at least until the New Year. She deserves it. 4 years of Ronnie plus the touring of SP.
Though in Jan, I want her back at work

Thanks Lou.

Yes I agree Ems. She needs to go back to work in January.

I would love for her to be in a period drama soon. I am watching “The Paradise” on BBC1 at the moment. I really love period dramas. It would be great to see Sam in one.

Although I would never want to say never to EE, at the moment I want her to be as far away from it as possible. It is absolutely dire. No good characters, dull and completely contrived storylines. I have never known it to be so bad.

A year today since I first met Sam! I can't believe how fast the year has flown by. It still only feels like yesterday it happened.

Sam was in central London today, so let's hope it wasn't for shopping but for a meeting or audition Yuh, I'm getting Sam deprived now

Was just thinking how awesome it would be for Ronnie to rock up in the square again a-la 2007.

Gosh I agree. I haven't watched it in about a month now. The Lauren/Joey s/l
Phil gaining custody of Lexi
Max's big secret

Nothing excites me. Makes me think "Ooh need to watch that."
I'm really into Hollyoaks at the moment. Never in a million years would I have thought I would find myself saying that.

It has flown by. I nearly forgot about Sept 10th when Lili and I met her
Nearly, but not quite

Ooh I do hope she was in a meeting. To be in a BBC drama.

Thanks for the reminder. She did speak once.

This storyline needs to be done. It would be interesting to see how Roxy would cope. Many parents go through this and it could reach a lot of people.

THey create the bad situations themselves. They created Derek who was awful and then brought in his family just as they kill him off so now we are lumbered with more pointless characters that will be axed sooner rather then later or they will tag along this Lauren/Joey storyline that doesn't interest me.

It was the same with the Moon brothers.

Why create a focal point who was unpopular then expand that focal point which ruins the show more and then you have so many bad characters like you do now you ruin the better characters. Most of teh best charaters are on a "break". If I was one of those actors I wouldn't come back!

I know this new EP needs some time but she has already made the same mistakes

Too keep this Sam based....I hope she comes back to reignite an ailing show. But if she stays away and does other dramas then that woudl be better !

If any of you want to send in a video of you saying happy birthday etc to put in it or even a picture of you holding up a sign saying happy birthday please could you send it to itzamy@hotmail.co.uk by Wednesday at the latest. Thank you

Thanks for the news Lou.
I have neglected the thread. I am not sure when it was the last time I checked it. I have been so engrossed in BBC’s period drama The Paradise, which I absolutely adored and the only forums I have checked have been those on the TV section for that series.
I am ashamed to say that I haven’t missed Sam much either. Now that that series has finished I will be more keen for some Sam news.

Isn't that the drama you wouldn't mind Sam popping up in?
