Absolutely! I have been saying for a long time now that I want to see her in a period drama, hopefully one from BBC as they are masters in such productions.

I have never watched Coronation Street, so never saw Sarah Lancashire in it, however she was in the Paradise, and at present Last Tango in Halifax, and a few dramas since she has left the soap, and she is just fantastic. She was probably wasted being in a soap.

Sam can do things like that too. The dramas appeal, in part, to different audiences from those of the soap, or comedy, so it will give Sam more scope to reach other demographics and showcase her talents.
Furthermore, considering that she likes to do different things, period/costume dramas, are something she has never done in her career so it would be a new and exciting thing for her to do.

Sam's Family Fortunes is a must see when it is aired. I luckily got the chance to go and see it being filmed along with Emma and the girls.

I won't reveal anything because I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I can reassure you it's a good episode

Hope 2013 will be the year Sam hits our TVs with a full-time(ish) role.

Ronnie must be out of prison by now or due for release very soon. I would like to think of her as having just served the prison sentence hopefully having received some therapeutic treatment whilst in prison finally being free from her past and making a new start now.

I was so shocked with the size of her wardrobe I was expecting a double wardrobe in the corner of her bedroom The shoes she showed at the end that she said were her new purchases were the ones she wore for Family Fortunes.
She's always called Humphrey Humps The love of her life. So sweet!

Fingers crossed for Sam news in the coming weeks.

It would be nice if we do get some form of acknowledgement from Roxanne when she is released.
Something along the lines of:
"Ronnie has been responding well to the therapeutic treatment, combined with the good behaviour so they are considering releasing her a few weeks early."
Just a few lines but enough so we know what is going on.

As much as I love Ronnie - I'm still uncertain about her returning to the square.
EE is pretty dire IMO at the moment and while Kat is still around, she should stay away.

I was hecka shocked too. I loved spotting things she's worn before - them leopard print boots. She loves them!

Did Jack propose to Sharon already and has she said yes already?

I stand by what I have said that I want Sam to do other things, and I doubt Sam would return to EE so soon. But boy wouldn't I also love to see Ronnie back, like the magazine speculates. But only if she comes back after Phil asks her to and he puts her in charge of the R&R. She can go back there and run it and be that glamorous, strong and beautiful Ronnie that graced EE back in 2007. And please not getting back with Jack if she returns.

THe Jack/Sharon storyline sounds terrible. I saw some of the sh1t being made these days over Christmas as the faaammillleee had it on.

There is a love triangle between Jack, Phil and Sharon. I thought Ronnie was Jack's love of his life. Clearly not.

Also, it seems they don't want to mention Ronnie. They had ample chance to name her when Jack and Roxy were at James' grave. Even Ronnie's name was covered by a bush!!

When was that?

It was for the babys christening and they were at the same church James was buried and Jack visited his grave and then Roxy did. They hid Ronnie's name from view!

Not quite sure what to make of the interview... or the play. Neither looked overly comfortable to be there, although Sam was very polite.

Give it another year and EE might be good enough for her to return.
