I really enjoyed that episode. It had drama from beginning to end and to think that she hasn’t even said one word yet. That is the strength of Ronnie's character and the merit in her returning. She has links with so many characters and naturally affects them all, brings out different dynamics on all of them and in the square.
I am really excited for the rest of the week. It is such a shame that there is football tomorrow which will no doubt dent the EE ratings for Ronnie’s first proper episode.

I can’t wait to see her run the Mitchell empire before the week is over. ”

Don't worry. Nobody watches England anymore - years of being let down. They need Ronnie Mitchell on the team!

I think this storyline has potential:

Hopefully Ronnie and Lola will will form a bond like Sam said in her interview.

I watched the episode this morning only because I have nothing to do during the day till uni starts next week. But the episode was brilliant. The last scene was perfect! She didn't have to say anything and tonight's episode should be even better. I'm more looking forward to her being back on the square tbh and controlling the mitchell empire

Can't believe they've gone down this stupid route within weeks of her returning.

I'm hoping it'll be a step forward like her finding out she's not pregnant and actually being happy (or OK) about it.

So glad LN is gone and Jack will leave soon too!

It is Roxy who takes the pregnancy test not Ronnie, so nothing to worry about.

unless it's Jack's again

I can't wait for Jack to leave. His character has become a joke.

I don’t mind Jack and it doesn’t bother me that much that they have a one night stand, as Jack is leaving.
The writing for Jack is terrible though. Jack feels like this great character on paper who never quite reached his potential and they turned him into a joke with the whole Sam Mitchell tripe.
But I am looking forward to seeing Ronnie on her own and strong again.

another great episode - the saviour of the show is back!

The Michael/ Ronnie scenes were my favourite - they have a great chemistry in their battle of words.

Was there really any doubt the show would improve with the Ronster back in town?

I wonder if there was a story with her facial expressions. Ronnie had no lines but she gave a mean stare to the female prison officer but gave a quick smile to the Asian prison guard. Obviously he was the one that smuggled in the contraband to her!”

And now she's had her 66th

Extremely pleased with tonight's ep. The writing was top notch.
Had EE gone down the "Kat screaming at Ronnie" route, I think viewers would have been turned-off.

They treaded carefully and told the story beautifully. I understand Kat's confusion. At the end of the day, Ronnie did lose a baby too and they have their pasts in common.
She wants to help her and doesn't know why.
Ronnie's armour is still there and she let it down slightly when she went to see Jack. Part of me wishes she didn't let herself get so "giddy" about seeing him again, but I am still interested to see where EE takes them two.

In Jack's case, hopefully the first plane out of Walford

Don't worry, they got it wrong - It's Roxy that has the Pregnancy test not Ronnie. Although she does sleep with Jack for a one night stand. Well it has been two years without...

From Sam's web chat:

"Thanks to everyone who’s been watching and waiting for my return, I hope you’re as excited to have me back as I am to be back… but more importantly, be patient and wait for Ronnie’s new character to emerge… it may take some time to see a different side to her. But it will definitely be worth it!"

Ronnie's new character....intriguing!

Very interesting! Ronnie's presence has ensured the show feels fresh again!

I liked her hard exterior tonight, particularly when she faced Michael. Tough yet so vulnerable at the same time - not an easy role to play but Sam pulls it off.

Is anyone else still shocked that Ronnie's back? I keep thinking I'll wake up and it'll all be some kind of dream, especially after two years of saying, "Ronnie would do this, Ronnie wouldn't stand for that, Ronnie would sort them out!" etc. She's back!

I think I'm most looking forward to seeing her take Carl on. I'm not too familiar with his character but Ronnie can sort him out.

Did you watch the This Morning interview? She said the same thing and it was annoying to watch so she had to come back to move the flowers on James' grave

I just rewatched the end scene - I really thought Ronnie was going to cry but shes stronger now. But I noticed a clanger. As Scott closes the door you can still see him standing by the door through the window LOL!

So glad it isn't Ronnie. Loved Ronnie/Kat and Ronnie/Michael scenes.

Ronnie works so much better with Michael! I never cared about Michael until his obsession with Ronnie began and now he's so much better she's back. I hope she plays huge role in his exit

Haha hope so! I am interested to see how it ends between them.
Oh I know, I just meant them two sleeping together. I hate that.

I hope we get a scene in the very near future with Ronnie at his grave. Or if not, a mention as to why she can't go. Counsellors advise she isn't ready or something...

Last nights episode was brilliant!! Totally love the Kat/Ronnie scene in the cafe. Although Roxy is so selfish knowing that Kat went to see Ronnie and still not going to find her sister or ring Kat, just stupid. The micheal and Ronnie scene was powerful I'm sure she scares him!

I agree, and think she will play a role in his exit. Ronnie\janine and Alice

Not watched tonight's episode yet. But judging by the reaction on DS and other users saying Ronnie is making EE watchable just speaks volumes of how much she has been missed. EE's best actress without a doubt
