No, we are in Nottinghamshire - its too far lol
We did a performance early 2010 and Sam was there on stage, we were performing for most of the day on and off - it was that Aid for Haiti gig where all the soap stars went. Anyways not sure exactly how it happened but from what I can gather my principal asked was chatting to Sam and asked her to be the patron and she agreed. Cool hey !!

I havnt got tickets and currently don't have others to go with, any if you guys fancy booking a day we can all go together?! (sorry if you've already arranged something and I'm too slow )

Only 12 days left until I go and see the lovely sam live! If I don't get to meet her at least I can say I've been in the same room as her whilst she was performing! I'm so excited.

Meanwhile, in Manchester the search is on for young people to star in the new production of South Pacific starring Samantha Womack. Following its run in London at the Barbican Theatre from 15 August to 1 October, the production will embark on a nationwide tour from 12 October.

The cast on tour will be headed by Samantha Womack as Nellie Forbush, Jason Howard as Emile de Becque, Alex Ferns as Luther Billis, Daniel Koek as Joseph Cable and Loretta Ables Sayre as Bloody Mary, with Paulo Szot playing the role of Emile in Oxford between 21-31 December. Samantha Womack and Loretta Ables Sayre leave the tour at the end of the Oxford run, on 31 December.
