I am very dissapointed in this rushed exit like on the main board they have mentioned they had nearly a whole year to think up a something.
yes they brought Ronnie back for him but only to tear them apart again, and really since she's been back they've hardly had long scenes together' they carried on far to long with the Ava, Sam stuff and the Pathetic Carl Kirsty stuff, i'm sure peoplelike these characters but surely Jack deserved more than this.
I'ts been rubbish really, no lose ends, like the car lot jack has money invested in it the house where his two nieces live no goodbyes to them either? oh and his own flat what is he going to leave that to Ron too, and Max still in prison he don't get to say goodbye to him, what about Dot and Jim surely a mention, not even Amy there for him, just about the most rubbish exit for a character who been there a long time.
The Good stories for EE seemed to have ended when Deidrick Wanted and his writers were there imo

I am actually glad it is Phil. I didn't want it to be Sharon, don't know why but I didn't.
Maybe because I want to see Roxy return with Ronnie to R&R and if Sharon is to remain in EE, for the producers to find her another place to be i.e. business with Ian. There are too many people involved in R&R at the moment and it is not working for me like this.


Hopefully not for her exit. Unless Roxy follows her it will be hard to justify Ronnie leaving Roxy behind when she is most vulnerable. Roxy is the only reason Ronnie is still in the Square.
Or that is what I would like to think anyway.

I really hope that Samantha Womack Stays in the show for a while longer. I must admit after the whole baby swap fiasco I stopped watching EastEnders for a while; I hated what they did to the character of Ronnie.

But still let's hope we see a happy Ronnie Because really if any character deserves it she does. I'm really liking the scenes with Lola; let's hope that they're really going to form a bond.

I'm always going to be a Samantha Janus/Womack fan. My favourite thing that she's ever been in will forever remain Game On; just ask any lad who was around in the 90s - we were all in love with Mandy Wilkins!! The funny thing is Samantha Womack hasn't aged much since then!!

Today's episode wasn't too bad but too much time spent on the Hartmans. It was good to see Ronnie and David getting a scene together - conning her to get her bed. I saw a smile from Ronnie right at the end of the scene - possible romance?

Ronnie mixing with the locals - Patrick was decent with her but Tiffany goes down the list for her "Nut job" remarks. OK, kids are like that. The old bag with the cats must be mad etc.. Hopefully Ronnie will prove Tiffany wrong at some stage. Jack showed how pointless he is "I'm her father" yeah right Jack.

The Lola/Ronnie scenes seemed "tagged on" to the episode. Almost like it was running short on time so they throw them in as a prelude for next week's episodes. But they were decent enough and we might get a nice family unit of Ronnie, Lola and lexi. Stuff Roxy!! - for now anyway!

I liked Ronnie’s scenes with everyone and yes Tiff is down on my bad books. I do understand though why she did it. Although I am glad we had that scene as it was in a way the excuse for David to go and see Ronnie.
David and Ronnie yes definitely can be romance there but I am sure he will end up with Carol after this love triangle with Masood.

I liked the scene with Lola but yeah I felt that it was tagged in and kept clock watching, as I knew they were coming but the episode was dragging and it only happened towards the end.

I liked Lola and Ronnie’s dialogue and Lola giving reassurances to Ronnie by drawing on her experience of losing Lexi.
Depends how soon Roxy's wedding happens, I can see Ronnie having a lot more scenes with Lola as Roxy assumingly will not be able to see her until after the wedding.

It's about time Ronnie mixed with other people in the square. She's been back a month.
The Lola/Ronnie scenes seem too quick for my liking. Lola kept saying she trusted Ronnie, all well and good but why does she trust her?
Bits and pieces should have been dripped in to culminate in a scene like that for it to work better and make it more believable.
When Lola said Ronnie was a good mum, Ronnie looked like a rabbit caught in headlights.
No one seems to recognise that she too was a mum and lost a child. It was good that Lola brought that up.

I remember loads of (older) boys at my primary school saying that. Cracks me up when I think about it now.

The way she is gripping hold of him.
Not a Ronnie & Jack fan, but that does make me sad.

It makes me sad too, because good or bad she has always been able to turn to Jack.
For example when she was looking for Glenda, but especially with the whole baby swap.
When she was bailed he took her back and got the Brannings and Michael to not bother her.

And of course now he has taken her back and it gives her a base, especially considering that Roxy is always hot and cold. One minute she is fine, the next she changes i.e. whether that be Michael manipulating her or Alfie controlling and blackmailing her.
It is like Jack has been her consistent base, her home and what she goes back to.

And then Sharon rubbing it in

Why do they call Mount Pleasant a comedy?
I don't find it funny. The more it goes on, the more drama like is than comedy.

Also, Mandy Wilkins have a baby she gave up for adoption. They could easily do a Children in Need sktetch that sees Martin and Matthew track Mandy to Walford now calling herself Ronnie

I don't think David will end up with Carol. Isn't that too predictable (which I guess EE is now!). The way they had Ronnie and David cross on screen together but not speak reminded me of Ronnie/Danielle as if its a point to the future that David and Ronnie would be connected.

Roxy is back on Monday 28th October and her and Alfie say they will keep away from Kat/Ronnie. Ronnie spots Kat and Alfie together on 29th October. Will she say anything to Roxy? I hope not - they way Roxy has been with Ronnie has been vbery hit and miss and let her find out the hard way and Ronnie can play mother to Lola and Lexi instead!

Yes I'm liking this idea, it would be quite neat.

I only wish they'd made more episodes of Game On. I think it's a much underrated gem of the 90s; I guess it had kind of a cult following. I did read somewhere recently that Samantha Womack said she'd be up for doing a reunion episode to see what became of the characters Mandy, Matthew and Martin. I doubt this will ever come to fruition though, just wishful thinking

Even so I still watch all the episodes to this day, I never seem to tire of watching them and they forever crack me up

Yes Sam said so in a recent interview. She said she imagines Mathew winning the lottery and Mandy and Martin helping him to spend the money or something like that. Can't remember fully.

I had forgotten about Ronnie and Danielle crossing scenes without talking for the first time.

I was really surprised actually to see that Ronnie was top of the list in that poll in this forum yesterday regarding who David will most likely bed first.
There will most likely be some romance there. The only thing is though, that at the moment I don't see Ron getting involved with anyone and Ronnie doesn't usually do one night stands either, but who knows. Anything can happen.

I am all for Ronnie to play mother to Lola and Lexi and Jay too, now that he has moved in with Phil. I would love to see that.
I totally agree with you about Roxy and Alfie. I hope Ronnie doesn't say anything to Roxy. I want Roxy to find out for herself what a liar and hypocrite Alfie has been.

There was a part missing from the interview of Rita that was posted on DS a few days ago where she spoke about how selfish Alfie is being, and that the real love story here is Ronnie and Roxy's.

Really promising interview there! I noticed DTC's display pic on twitter is now himself, Rita and Sam which I love as I've always felt R&R were DS/DTC's best creations!

I don't want to wish the 6 month contract away but I'm excited for Ronnie's scenes in a couple of months around the time of Roxy and Alfie splitting. I'd have hated for Roxy to have to cope alone as Phil, Billy etc have never been much support.
