What The Heck Has Happened To Neighbours?
What is going on with the individual episode titles and the strange black bars on the screen to make it look 'cinematic-widescreen'. It just looks stupid.

I'm sorry, I've noticed what it was. During one scene with max and Steph The screen went completely letterbox and there was a large bar below and above the main action. I think it was either a broadcasting error or a new visual effect neighbours are using. I'll look out for it on the repeat.

They've been widescreen for atleast 4 years, but this letterbox is terrible, puts me off Neighbours.

Ermmmm. What letterbox thing? I've never noticed it.
Cheers- and at least the actual programmes getting better! Not that it would take much to improve on what it was a few years ago mind! I like it anyway.

Does anyone know if Jack has a Ricky Martin poster ?
All this fuss about widescreen, I've always watched TV in 4:3 and I've never felt the need to change to 16:9. In fact these widescreen TV's are simply too big, they're at least 5 times as big as my current TV set (which is a small combo). Total madness. I'm more interested in having good programs to watch. |

I think it was apicture error at the time of broadcasting. I'm still confused about the episode titles 'Sins of The Father' and 'One Irreverant Kiss'.

I didn't see the last two or three episodes before the break for The Olympics, did Summer have brown hair then? Already she is annoying me as much, if not more than Hannah Martin did.

Susan and Tom... "Sins of the Father" Father being another name for a Priest / Double meaning The Sin of Karl 'the father' and Izzy's relationship "One Ir'reverant' Kiss" Reverant another work for a Priest, regarding Susan and Tom's kiss... mmlabbd |

Yeah, the size of the screen really ruins the show.......... Jeezo, if you liked the show you would put up with it!

They gave the show episode titles so that if certain episodes are up for awards its nice to say "the winner is "sins of the father"" Then "episode 4503" etc. Also the show has adopted themes that run through individual episodes instead of just "this is what harold is doing, this is what karl is doing etc."
I've watched the show since the begining but for the first time since the early 90s (with the exception of a few weeks in 1997/98) I'm actually a regular viewer again. It's a joy to watch right now, long may it last. |

Serena is really annoying. Stingray (I'm gonna have to get used to that) has been a breath of fresh air however and when we find out he has ADHD or whatever he has we might see some great acting from him.
