Please be gentle - new to the site and first post on this forum....

I went to see Batman Live last night and wondered what other people thought of it - as someone who likes Batman, but is not comic or Batman mad (just so you get an idea of my frame of reference) I really enjoyed it.

It was reminiscent of the Joel Schumacher Batman films (very colourful, a bit camp, very family friendly)..... In essence, I liked that fact that it was hard to pin down what it was, part theatre, part circus, part stunt show, part play, part contemporary dance, part magic show, part special effects spectacular - you get the picture - a bit of everything..........but all based around the iconic figure of Batman....

I just wondered what the Comic Book Batman fans thought of it......

Going to this on Wednesday, really looking forward to it! Much as I enjoy the Christopher Nolan Batman series, I do have a soft spot in my heart for the campier Adam West stuff. If it's on ITV4 I'll stay tuned.

I went to the World Premiere showing at the MEN and i agree with what you say its very hard to pigeon hole it into one type of show, but its a very enjoyable show indeed, and the Batmobile is cool

a really fun show for all the family

I thought it was excellent. Saw it last night at the O2 in London and it was fantastic.
