Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah - Bob B Soxx and the Blue Jeans

A song written for the 1946 Disney film "Song of the South" and covered by several artists, with my favourite cover being the above mentioned Phil Spector produced version.

C'Mon Everybody - The Sex Pistols

Decent enough cover, but not really in the same league as the Eddie Cochran original.

Little Red Rooster - The Rolling Stones

The Stones' chart-topping cover is fantastic, the Sam Cooke cover is fantastic and, although I haven't heard it, I'm sure that Howling Wolf's original is fantastic too.

Ruby Baby - Dion

Very good cover of the classic Drifters song, which was composed by the magnificent songwriting team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

R.I.P. Jerry.
